The upcoming open-world zombie game Days Gone is ready to launch in just a few weeks, and while the narrative is going to be a major focus of the game, which includes six hours of cutscenes, the gameplay will be offering three different skill trees. In a new video, developer Sony Bend details all 45 skills that can be unlocked throughout the course of Days Gone. The wacky-looking FMV game Death Come True (from Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka) will be released on June 25, 2020, for Switch and mobile devices in Japan. A new trailer confirmed the date along with a price point of around 1,960 yen. That likely points to the international release being around $20. As for when the title will come to PC and PS4, the official website simply lists it as “TBA.” Both versions are still scheduled for 2020, but it seems we’ll need to wait a bit longer for those particular ports....

Koji Igarashi has revealed that sales for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night exceeded his expectations for the Nintendo Switch. In a recent interview with Famitsu, Igarashi was speaking about the overall performance of the game and which platform saw the most sales, in which the Switch decisively came out on top. Igarashi described how this came as a surprise, because, “The game launched one week later on Switch than on other consoles, and I figured fans wouldn’t be able to wait the extra week for the Switch version, so that was unexpected....

Get ready, there are a ton of changes coming to Destiny 2’s Nightfall strike activity, many of which are targeted to give fans exactly what they’ve been asking for from the upper-tier PvE activity. Destiny 2’s dedicated fan base is always looking for new and interesting ways to take down the raid bosses in the game. This time, it seems that some players have managed to beat the new Destiny 2 raid boss, Val Ca’uor, in less than one second, all thanks to a peculiar bug in the raid. This strategy, shown off by YouTuber Gladd, exploits a bug in the Spire of Stars raid lair where players can duplicate the orb that Calus needs to bring down Ca’uor’s shield....

Back in October, Apple TV+ acquired the rights to a whole host of Peanuts holiday specials including “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.” This was great news to Apple shareholders and Apple TV+ subscribers (all 13 of us), but it also raised concern about how many timeless classic holiday specials would soon find their way behind corporate paywalls. Thankfully, it would appear that Apple heard those concerns and registered them. For now the company has announced that “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be receiving special broadcast airings on PBS in addition to its Apple TV+ premiere....

This isn’t exactly new, save for its relative intensity. There’s been a sort of “gold rush” on comics IP since the ’90s, owing to the success of adaptations like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jim Carrey’s The Mask (based on an obscure, ultraviolent Dark Horse book), and the X-Men Saturday morning cartoon....

After being announced at Bethesda’s E3 Showcase in 2019, Commander Keen for iOS and Android appears to be cancelled with no mention of the game on the developer’s official site as an upcoming game release. Twitter user @Nitomatta, discovered that all prior association to the game on the ZeniMax Online Games website had been scrubbed. The game’s official website, GoKeen.com no longer exists and now redirects to Bethesda.net with no mention of the game....

The Nintendo Switch is a wonderful little device that manages to hold its own against more powerful consoles with great games and novel ideas. But there’s some glaring omissions in Nintendo’s handling of Switch. The biggest is probably the online experience. Nintendo Switch Online still hasn’t really earned its asking price, the company would rather squash grassroots tournaments than support esports for its games, and there’s the persistent voice chat problem....

Crysis Remastered has a September 18th release date, so better get to upgrading your current rig now if you plan to play it on PC. And if you want to play it on console, stick with the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. It’s been a few months longer than we expected, but Crysis Remastered is finally hitting the big consoles and PC this September. A surprise Switch release was a nice sideshow, but Nintendo’s handheld console just can’t produce the kind of visuals that we were promised with the game’s announcement last April....

Who would have ever thought that Crysis (of all titles) would even be able to run on a portable console? The Switch version is looking extremely impressive, while offering many features such as enhanced graphics and even Gyro Aiming. Crysis is one of the most well-known franchises that has delivered some of the best graphics in all of video games, with the notorious “Can it run Crysis, though” meme spawning from this series....

While playing through Cyberpunk 2077, players may find their character begins to overheat occasionally. Though this may seem strange, it’s actually due to the cybernetic enhancements the character makes use of. Enemies that have a line of sight on the player can hack them, causing their components to overheat, and even cameras can cause this effect on players.
