Today, Bungie officially launched the raid for Destiny 2’s Black Armory DLC, with the endgame activity dubbed “Scourge of the Past” taking Guardians back to the Old City to face a long forgotten secret buried deep beneath the area. Prior to the raid, many fans had been wondering exactly how large and challenging it would be, and now that the World First winners have been confirmed, those who have yet to take on the task can get a better idea of what they’re in for....

If there were ever a time in Destiny 2 to play through Nightfalls, now would be it. A reward glitch currently exists in the game that gifts players with twice the amount of loot drops whenever they complete a Nightfall activity. Destiny 2 player MTashed posted a demonstration and explanation of the glitch in a YouTube video, and he claims that he grabbed nearly 15 Exotics in only 3 hours....

Destiny 2 may not have launched with private matches, but it seems very likely that the game will add the feature soon. At least the feature should be added, if an in-game icon is any indication. It took nearly three years for Destiny 1 to add Private Matches, which allowed players to group up for unique PvP games with their own rule sets. Moreover, Private Matches paved the way for Destiny to support eSports and tournaments....

Destiny 2 fans that have gone to events like E3, Gamescom, and GuardianCon have had some hands-on experience with Forsaken’s new game mode, Gambit. Today, Bungie announced that on September 1, all players will be able to try out Gambit in a 24-hour free-trial that kicks off at 10 a.m. PDT, so every player will get a little hands-on time with the exciting new game mode before Forsaken launches. The announcement came during the Blizzard block of GamesCom, where Forsaken Game Director Steve Cotton and Project Lead Scott Taylor gave fans a run-down of what to expect when Destiny 2’s big expansion launches this September....

The first trailer has arrived for I’m Thinking of Ending Things, a new Netflix feature film based on the acclaimed 2016 debut novel from Iain Reid. Development on CD Projekt RED’s sci-fi RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, had appeared to be going well after the developer released a gameplay demo and offered tons of info including details about the game’s weapons and combat systems. However, this progress may have been dealt a blow by the departure of one high profile team member. According to an update on LinkedIn, Sebastian Stępień, who was the creative director on Cyberpunk 2077, has now left CD Projekt RED....
