The Valentine’s Day themed live event of the Destiny franchise, Crimson Days, is making its return next week in Destiny 2. Clearly, Bungie has taken a lot of the fan feedback to heart with this event, which will feature an open reward system and add a 2v2 PvP mode as well as bring back a fan-favorite map from the first game. First off, the biggest fear for a lot of players when it was leaked that Crimson Days was coming back was that it would have a large focus on microtransactions and the Eververse Store, much like The Dawning did in December....

Destiny 2’s second expansion is now available, and included in the expansion is the second raid lair, Spire of Stars, which launches this Friday. Thanks to Reddit user TheEcumene, who datamined Destiny 2, we now have an idea of what the premise of the second raid lair will be. If you want to go into the raid completely blind, this is your spoiler warning. Fans have been speculating that the Hive would be the main enemy of the second raid lair, just as the Vex were the main enemy in the Curse of Osiris raid lair, but it seems that isn’t the case....

Bungie has provided a number of important news in relation to Destiny 2: Beyond Light in the past couple of weeks. Today, the studio revealed how Ghosts will be evolving this November, much like armor did back in Shadowkeep. This piece of news comes from the latest This Week at Bungie article and goes into quite a bit of depth. For some time now, fans have been asking for Ghost customization in Destiny 2 to separate functionality from visuals and allow more flexibility....

Destiny 2 is once again handing out bans to PC players, and once again those players are claiming they did nothing wrong. This is the second such incident involving Destiny 2, but this time Bungie is more confident in its review process. Shortly after launch, about 400 players were banned from accessing Destiny 2 on PC without any explanation as to why. Initially, these players (and others) surmised that the bans were a result of having third party software open, like an overlay for Discord or Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) for streaming....

Yesterday’s trailer treated us to many of the new goodies that will be coming in The Dawning, Destiny 2’s annual holiday event, but now Bungie’s website has been updated with even more details, and it looks like there’s a community goal to go along with this year’s festivities. Eva returns with her usual assortment of baked goods, so we’re certainly going to be baking cookies once again this year. On top of that, there’s going to be a community goal of accumulating Dawning Spirit by “completing missions, bounties, and recipes....

Bungie will be nerfing the Lord of Wolves exotic shotgun in Destiny 2. The weapon has been causing carnage all over the game’s PvP lately, especially on PC, leading to complaints about it being too powerful. The shotgun spits fire, but instead of shooting in a normal spread, it releases multiple bursts, just like a pulse rifle. Its signature perk is called Release the Wolves, which fires double shots after a kill....

While there haven’t been many duos explicitly featured in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, players have gotten to know protagonists and their romantic partners throughout many different entries into the series. Some games show the romance on full display, while other Assassin’s Creed romantic relationships are explored in spin-off games, books, etc. Assassin’s Creed is also known for not letting its protagonists have what can be considered a “happy” ending, which players have seen time and time again in each game entry....

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED reveals new information about one of the game’s corporation. The developer has been sharing more gang and corporation details over the last few months, like its reveal about The Mox, a gang that defends sex workers. On Twitter, CD Projekt RED shared a short video showing the logo of Cyberpunk 2077 corporation Kang-Tao. Kang-Tao is a young Chinese company, said the developer, and it makes smart-gun technology and offers security services....

The creator of Dead Space has been hired by PUBG Corp to head a brand new studio whose first project will be to create a narrative game based in the PUBG “universe.” Apparently PUBG has a universe now? So here’s something we never would have seen coming. PUBG Corp, the developer and publisher of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, has decided to open up a new studio. It’s called Striking Distance, and the guy they tapped to be CEO is none other than Glen Schofield, the executive producer for Dead Space....

Activision and Bungie have announced a new partnership with Rockstar Energy drinks in promotion for the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken. As with past promotions, this latest one carries the promise of in-game rewards and prizes but this time around there are 8 different themed cans to collect. Since neither Bungie/Activision nor Rockstar has officially announced the Destiny 2 promotion there is still a lot of mystery surrounding it.
