The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is easy to get lost in. Night City pulls at you with its dense streets and flashing lights, never letting you catch your breath – thanks to the constant use of first-person perspective. But what truly brings the world together is Cyberpunk 2077’s soundtrack, one of the best I’ve heard since Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. GTA: Vice City’s soundtrack was so successful because it helped bring the world around you to life....

For as much success as CD Projekt Red brought in initially, it’s been a rough time for the developer in the last week. As the criticism of Cyberpunk 2077’s problems on last-gen consoles continue to mount, CD Projekt Red has enacted damage control to try and salvage the game’s release. While the game has a litany of glitches and oddities on the PC and PS5/Xbox Series X releases (which are technically the last-gen versions taking advantage of beefier hardware through backward compatibility), the base PS4/Xbox One versions have bugs on top of severe performance issues as well....

Despite the patches, Cyberpunk’s glitches keep on coming, and this one is equal parts bizarre and entertaining. Even though the majority of the news surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 since launch has been negative, the game isn’t all bad. Its size and story are still major accomplishments, especially if you are playing the game on PC. There’s no doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly anticipated video games in recent memory, especially after CD Projekt Red decided several months ago that it would finally share the forthcoming title’s nearly hour-long gameplay demo with the general public. While Among Us’ Nintendo Switch port managed to be the high note of Nintendo’s recent Indie World Showcase, one lesser known but equally as entertaining title arrived on Switch too. Deck-building roguelike Dicey Dungeons is available to play now on the handheld for $15, and it promises to be a most-excellent adventure. Perhaps the most striking announcement of Thursday’s PlayStation 5 “The Future of Gaming” event was the reveal of Bluepoint’s Demon’s Souls remake. A remake of Demon’s Souls had been long rumored, but the quality of Bluepoint’s remake stood out tremendously. It could put Bluepoint’s Shadow of the Colossus remake to shame. But Bluepoint isn’t just doing a major visual overhaul of Demon’s Souls. It’s also adding to the game in exciting new ways....

The third Expunge mission, Tartarus, has seen a corrupted variant appear in Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer. Like the standard mission, you’ll need to utilize the Stabilized Security Access buff to break Vex Cubes scattered throughout the arena. When you’ve made it far enough into the Vex Network, you’ll be able to eliminate Dimio, Oppressive Mind Reborn. Out of every Corrupted Expunge mission, this is arguably the easiest of the bunch....

Exotic Catalysts are one of the many items that Destiny 2 fans grind for, especially the three exotic catalysts tied to the limited time Faction Rally event in-game. The limited-time nature of these catalysts has many Destiny 2 players worried that they won’t get all three before the end of the season. Bungie Community Manager dmg04 settled some fan’s fears, as he confirmed that exotic catalysts are not tied to this season and will be available in year two of Destiny 2....

One of the biggest questions on the minds of the Destiny 2 community is if certain popular exotic weapons from the past will be returning in Forsaken. Bungie confirms that Destiny 2 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X. Controversy broke out in the Destiny 2 community after a player unlocked all the available Triumphs in the game, which led to many other players calling into question the integrity of the achievement. The end result of all the controversy was the player being banned across the Destiny subreddit and a popular site that tracks and hosts the Triumphs leaderboard. In a post on light.gg (a popular Destiny fan site that tracks player leaderboards and houses a robust database, among other things), the site’s creator “afpac” explains that after the player in question hit the top of the Triumphs leaderboard by unlocking all the available Triumphs, fans across the community started looking into the specifics of the player’s account....

While Bungie has arguably done a great job of building hype for Destiny 2, the studio has achieved that goal so without revealing too much about the game itself. Fans know that a major gameplay reveal is set for May 18th, but aside from that and some very small story details everything else is a mystery. New Combat Abilities in Destiny 2? Bungie revealed Season of the Chosen, Destiny 2’s 13th season, back in February 2021. One of the major pieces of content that got the community really excited was a brand-new strike, that players can also play completely free without owning the season pass for Season of the Chosen. But it looks like that’s not the case anymore. Bungie announced on Twitter yesterday that the new Proving Grounds strike that was released last week in Destiny 2 will not be available as free content for non-season pass holders....
