From new details about the Rise of Iron social space to confirmation that two beloved weapons will be returning as exotics, the Destiny newsphere has been nothing short of consistent and we expect that to continue throughout the month....

At Sony’s E3 conference, story details were revealed for Destiny 2: Forsaken, coming in the form of a story trailer that reveals what’s to come in the narrative for Destiny 2’s expansion coming this September. In a scene that will be shocking for those who are familiar with the lore of Destiny, Cayde-6 is damaged and as the camera sweeps around it is shown that he is at the feet of Prince Uldren, who pulls the trigger of a hand cannon and kills the wise-cracking Hunter Vanguard....

During its GCX charity stream, Bungie flew past a number of donation goals and continued to reveal new things for Beyond Light including concept art as well as a confirmation that the fan favorite exotic Hawkmoon hand cannon is finally making its return to the franchise....

When Destiny 2’s Curse of Osiris DLC arrives next month, it will introduce new story content centered on Osiris and Vex technology. And fans can expect plenty of opportunities to enjoy this new, narrative content through Strikes based on the expansion’s story missions. Overall, the Curse of Osiris expansion will offer eight story missions for players to enjoy and Bungie is turning two of these missions into Strikes. Destiny 2 project lead Sam Jones said that it is a “natural evolution” of the director map from Destiny 1 which “had strikes featured as part of the destination as a discrete standalone activity....

Since the release of Stasis in Beyond Light, Destiny 2 players have been asking for a proper nerf for every subclass in the game as they are too powerful on PVP side of things. While Bungie did nerf some of the Stasis abilities, including the Warlock’s kit, there are still plenty left that draw the ire of players. The good news is Bungie announced it will release fixes and nerfs to the Stasis subclass over the period of season 13 and season 14, while adding new Stasis weapons with the release of Season 15....

It’s another big week for Bungie and it’s popular online shooter, Destiny 2. This week’s update finally brought about the highly sought after next generation upgrades letting PS5 and Xbox Series X/S users finally take advantage of their hardware’s added power. One of those baddies is Varney of London, a two-bit vampire who was once one of Dracula’s generals and has now made it his mission to resurrect his master. The only problem is that the foul-mouthed bloodsucker is kind of a joke, a has-been who even his vampiric cohorts don’t respect....

Some may lament the upgrade to the Xbox Series X, concerned with leaving games behind and moving forward into an exciting and turbulent future for video games. Luckily for owners of the multiformat indie survival title Conan Exiles, Funcom has launched an updated version of the game for Microsoft’s new system. This update doesn’t simply plop Conan Exiles into the current generation, however. Cooking Mama: Cookstar publisher Planet Entertainment has issued a statement addressing the controversial release of the game. This comes hot on the heels of Cooking Mama license holder Office Create accusing the publisher of releasing Cookstar without their permission. In a statement published to the official Cookstar Twitter account, Planet denies allegations that they put out the game without Office Create’s permission: By contract, Planet is fully within its rights to publish Cooking Mama Cookstar....

Cyberpunk 2077 has been a massive success for CD Projekt Red. The game has sold over 13 million copies. Even with a slew of refunds, this game is a financial juggernaut. The reason for the success of the game can be attributed to many factors. One reason that Cyberpunk 2077 has been a massive hit is due to the fantastic story and characters buried underneath the mountain of technical problems. One incredible character the game introduces is Judy Alvarez....

In Cyberpunk 2077, most encounters eventually devolve into a hailstorm of deep-tissue lead poisoning. However, they don’t always have to. One can choose to let most situations devolve into a skewer fest where the player can rack up the limbs of V’s fallen enemies and turn them into cyborg shish kebabs. Such a colorful way to paint Night City red is made possible with melee weapons. Of course, being the protagonist in Cyberpunk 2077, V needs a set of Unique weapons to fit the role....

Almost seven years since its initial reveal, the release of CD Projekt Red’s action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is finally coming. With a highly-anticipated gaming release comes the highly-anticipated reviews that many gamers rely on to help them judge whether or not a game is worth their hard-earned money. Cyberpunk 2077 was first announced in May of 2012, with the initial teaser trailer revealed in January of 2013. Similar to CD Projekt Red’s other series, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077 is based on an existing franchise, though this time around it’s based on a tabletop game series by Mike Pondsmith simply titled Cyberpunk....

2020 is one giant glitch in the Matrix and Cyberpunk games are not having any luck this year either. Sukeban Games has announced the change of N1RV Ann-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action’s release date to an indefinite one, following an in-depth statement on the developer’s website. Programmer at Sukeban Games Fernando Damas penned the blog post which started on a positive note before getting to the facts. N1RV Ann-A’s predecessor VA-11 Hall-A is now available on Xbox Game Pass, but unfortunately, it didn’t sugarcoat the disappointing news that followed....
