Loads of gaming fans missed Desperados 3 when it came out in 2020, and that’s a definite shame! It’s been a long, long time since 2006 when Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge came out and those that love tactical stealth games will love seeing this franchise finally get an update. With Bounty Mode out now and players able to make their own maps, tons of new players are trying out the game....
Earlier this week we featured a video highlighting a Vault of Glass raid team’s attempt to beat Atheon using only melee. It was a feat that, in the grand scheme of Destiny feats, was not the most impressive thing we’ve seen, but was still very cool. Now, a new Destiny raid team has stepped forward to stake their own claim on the “coolest Destiny feat we’ve seen” title by getting through the entire Crota’s End raid without firing a single bullet....
With the release of Destiny 2’s newest expansion, Beyond Light, fans will see the return of some characters not seen since the first game that will add new lore to the series. With every new expansion, Bungie also introduces players to new characters that add a lot to already existing lore. One of these characters first introduced in the Warmind expansion is Ana Bray. Serving as the main character’s guide on Mars in the second game, she seems to have a close connection to the Warmind Rasputin and the Clovis Bray facility on Mars....
Currently, players are enjoying all the Halloween festivities in Destiny 2. Along with the weekly reset yesterday, Destiny 2 made a few changes to the game this week. The major changes in Update 2.0.5 include a few bug fixes, Sandbox changes, changes to the Crucible and Gambit modes, and changes to Masterwork Cores. Destiny 2 is filled with dozens of secrets for players to find. Hidden collectibles and quests are just a few things players can find while out in the wild. Arguably what started this trend of adding secrets to every planet was Forsaken’s Dreaming City destination, a fantastical Awoken stronghold that rotates secrets weekly. One small series of secrets in the Dreaming City is the presence of cat statues. These cats can be interacted with if you have a Small Gift, granting you a random piece of Dreaming City gear....
Bungie is set to fully unveil the next expansion for Destiny 2, Shadowkeep, shortly. But it’s Google, as part of its special pre-E3 Stadia livestream, that gets to officially announce the expansion and show off Shadowkeep’s very first trailer. The trailer teases what kind of enemies Guardians will find on the Moon, hints at a hidden evil, and reveals the return of fan-favorite character Eris Morn. But there’s clearly much left to share about Destiny 2 and its future....
While a lot of the debate surrounding Destiny 2 right now has to do with Iron Banner and the game’s Token system, the smaller machinations are still running as usual. Xur is back to offer more exotic items, some of which may give players an edge during the monthly PvP event. This week, Destiny 2 players can find Xur on Nessus, in the Arcadian Valley of Watcher’s Grave. Regular Xur patrons will remember this as the first spot he set up shop in Destiny 2, high atop a tree....
During the recent livestream for the Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC, developer Bungie confirmed that the game will be introducing a “raid lair” next month. But this isn’t the only addition to the Leviathan raid that Bungie is planning. The developer also said that Destiny 2 players can expect additional content for the Leviathan raid to be released next year. Although very little has been revealed about this additional raid layer at this point, Bungie has confirmed that it is scheduled to release with the next Destiny 2 expansion pack around spring 2018....
Bungie’s big Destiny 2 livestream, The Next Chapter, was only really only expected to showcase the new big fall expansion, now confirmed to be titled Beyond Light, as well as Season 11. However, Bungie had a lot more surprises in store for fans of its looter-shooter series, confirming the titles of the next two major story expansions, which are planned to release in 2021 and 2022. During the livestream, Bungie confirmed that the 2021 expansion for Destiny 2 is entitled The Witch Queen, whereas the 2022 expansion is currently called Lightfall....
While the official Destiny 2 Year 2 reveal doesn’t take place until tomorrow, developer Bungie sought fit to give fans a brief tease via a short trailer. In it, players can see Cayde-6 and a Guardian trasnmatting on The Reef, which confirmed a few of the rumors and speculation about where Destiny 2’s first expansion would go. The footage then concluded with the reveal that the first major add-on is called Forsaken....
While fans may be currently unhappy with the current state of Destiny 2, Bungie’s recent transparency regarding the future of the game and its plans to fix it have been refreshing. Each week, the studio spotlights a new section of the game by identifying the issues and feedback they get about it and what plans are in place to address it. It’s been an exciting week for most Destiny 2 fans as the Season of the Worthy comes to an end with the first ever live event in franchise history. While it may not have been as flashy as what Epic Games has done with Fortnite, Bungie managed to not only gather huge amounts of players in The Tower but destroy the huge Cabal ship in real time in the sky box....
At Destiny 2’s first gameplay reveal, Bungie showed off the new subclasses that will be available in the sequel: the Dawnblade Warlock, the Arcstrider Hunter, and the Sentinel. Unfortunately, only the Dawnblade was available for any hands-on sessions, meaning fans would need to wait and see how the Sentinel Titan and Arcstrider Hunter play. That wait will soon be over, though, as Bungie has confirmed it will add the Arcstrider Hunter into the Destiny 2 demo at this year’s E3 2017 event....
Warner Bros. stunned the entertainment industry when the studio announced plans to release 17 of its 2021 films in theaters and on HBO Max simultaneously in the United States. Now, Cineworld Group has issued a response in which the theater chain expresses its hope that Warner Bros. will reach a new agreement regarding proper release windows once theaters resume operations. Under the terms of Warner Bros. release strategy for 2021, 17 films will debut on HBO Max day-and-date with movie theaters for one month before being removed from the WarnerMedia streamer....

Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct was full of new releases that are on the horizon, including both highly-anticipated first-party titles and newly announced third-party games. As evident in the Direct, Contra appears to be making a comeback with the upcoming Contra: Rogue Corps. Counterpart Season 1 Episode 10 As expected, Counterpart made it clear that last week’s attack on the Office of Interchange was not the end game (thank goodness), but is this the result the conspirators were hoping for? This finale left viewers so many mysteries to ponder that it’s a good thing season two has already begun filming, providing assurance that answers will eventually be coming. But whether wondering about the next steps for Howard, Baldwin, Clare, or anyone else with secrets in a world without an open Crossing, everything points to season one as merely a prologue to a much grander story to come....
Right, what the hell is going on in Crash: On the Run? Here at TheGamer, our opinions on the game have been pretty mixed. As for myself, it’s a decent enough free-to-play mobile game, but the endless runner thing doesn’t quite make sense for me, and the boss choices are… odd to say the least. Scorporilla as the lead off hitter? Whatever, it’s your funeral. But after playing it for a while longer, I’m still deeply confused about why the hell I’m hatching eggs....
Fans of the PlayStation 1 styled horror game Paratopic will soon be able to play it on the Nintendo Switch later this month. This award-winning game was originally released for the PC in 2018 and subjected its players to a short and surreal story with different choices that players could make each time they played. For those who haven’t played Paratopic, it’s a short horror game focusing on different protagonists in different parts of their own stories while players are left with trying to understand what exactly is going on in the world around them....
