Destiny 2 is going to go another season without Trials of the Nine and Faction Rally appearing in the game. While Season 5 and the Black Armory DLC is promising new things for players to do, Trials and Faction Rally will not be among them, as Bungie works to improve the two events. Bungie’s community manager Cozmo confirmed on the Destiny subreddit that the two modes would not be returning in Destiny 2’s Season 5: Season of the Forge....

A host of tweaks are coming to Destiny 2’s weapons in its upcoming Beyond Light expansion. According to Bungie, the developer based the changes on player feedback. Destiny 2’s latest expansion aims to dramatically alter the landscape of the first-person looter shooter. In addition to the game’s narrative reaching a critical moment, big changes are coming to the Solar System. Much of the game’s base content, as well as DLC and previous expansion content, will be moved to what Bungie is calling the “Destiny Content Vault....

Many fans were excited to finally see the return of Trials of Osiris to Destiny 2, but guardians may not want to rejoice just yet. As more lore has been released on Osiris’ competitive PvP endgame activity, fans have been getting clued into the original purpose of the Trials. While similar to guardian training tests like Iron Banner and Crucible, it seems Trials of Osiris may have an ulterior motive other than proving several guardians’ collective strength....

Guardians are certainly expecting the Darkness’ big reveal now that the pyramid ships have arrived, but until the actual fall of Light occurs, players will need to deal with a certain Witch Queen in the meantime. While there’s a whole year of content in Beyond Light coming this November, Destiny 2 has already outlined the next three yearly expansions for the game. One of which is Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, which will be next year’s big expansion for the game, finally leading to the inevitable encounter with the titular queen Savathun....

Less than a week ago, news broke regarding retail listings that revealed a possible title and release date for Destiny 2’s second expansion. The rumors indicated that the DLC would be called The Fallen Warmind and would release on the May 8. Now more details from the listings have emerged, hinting at the new content, as well as the story. While it seems safe to assume that the base Cyberpunk 2077 experience will offer a great deal of content, it appears that fans that wish to spend more time in the world of Cyberpunk will have the opportunity to do so, as CD Projekt has confirmed that there are currently three Cyberpunk projects in development....

CD Projekt Red’s latest, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently out and about and making the rounds, and based on the game’s impressive sales numbers and performance in May, it’s safe to say that the developer must be pretty pleased with itself. Firaxis Games, the developers behind Civilization 6, recently gave new details for The Ethiopia Pack, the second DLC of the New Frontier Pass content that’s releasing later this month. One of the features discussed that will be included within Civilization 6’s new update is the addition of four Secret Societies. Upon discovering and joining them, Secret Societies offer some additional benefits, including the choosing of a governor. Each governor has four unique promotions, and are not tied to a specific city....
