Depending on the player, some will consider Yhorm the Giant as Dark Souls 3’s easiest or hardest boss. This boss has the largest health pool and some of the deadliest attacks out of the main game, yet he has a massive weakness to a certain attack. Similar to the Storm King boss in Demon’s Souls, the approach players take with this fight will make it trivial or insanely difficult. Some consider exploiting Yhorm’s weakness cheating or unfun, which is what makes this boss one of Dark Souls 3’s strangest fights....

WarnerMedia’s DC Universe experiment was a short-lived one. The service, which had hoped to be a hub for all things DC, was pushed by the company as the easiest way to access not only popular DC Comics, but new TV shows and DC films. As the company continues to pivot towards HBO Max, however, DC Universe is closing up shop, or at least, rebranding significantly. Originally launched in September of 2018, DC Universe launched with special offerings like the R-Rated Titans show and attempted to entice subscribers with access to a huge catalogue of DC productions....

I continue to be surprised by how prolific the fishing game genre is. Deadly Premonition was a survival horror detective game that took the world by storm. A lot of people hated it for its charitably interesting controls and quirky characters, among other things. Some people did enjoy it for those exact reasons, though, and can count the game as one of their favorites due to its parallels to Twin Peaks. As Destiny prepares to expand again with the House of Wolves DLC later this month, Bungie has been busy slowly teasing the fan base with new information about the content that’s included. While many players were surprised and even a bit disappointed to learn that the expansion wouldn’t contain a new Raid, there’s a number of new features which should help fill that void. One such feature is the Trials of Osiris mode which introduces a new crucible experience to the game called Elimination where two teams of three battle it out without respawns....

Destiny: The Taken King has been out for less than a full day, which means most Guardians are still delving deeply into the new content. With that new content comes new frustrations, however, as the expansion’s new strikes are proving to be quite the challenge. Bungie implemented new features to keep strikes interesting this time around, like dynamic enemy encounter rooms, so every replay should be a little bit different from the last....

It’s the usual down time for Destiny, which means that players are trying to find their own ways to have fun. In some cases that involves grinding Iron Banner for new gear, while in others it means dusting off old challenges, like soloing Aksis at light level 385, to see what’s truly possible....

It’s the second week of Crota’s End Hard Mode’s availability, and Destiny players are already eager to see what Xur has for sale. Mostly, players just want to know if he has Gjallarhorn, or at the very least some heavy ammo synthesis. Unfortunately, no ammo synthesis this week, but the good news is the heavy ammo bug will soon be patched by Bungie. The developer says that a fix is making its way through testing, and should be available before the end of the month....

Exo Stranger was first introduced in Destiny 1 and remained a mystery up until now with Destiny 2: Beyond Light’s release. During the Warmind expansion that centered around Ana Bray, players learned that the Exo Stranger was the Elsie Bray. A puzzle from Vicarious Visions and the Lost Memory Fragments on Mars revealed this key piece of information. However, it wasn’t until Beyond Light that players got a confirmation that she is indeed the granddaughter of the not-so-magnanimous scientist Clovis Bray....

Following the introduction of the Wall of Wishes in Destiny 2’s Last Wish raid, many players have been searching all over the solar system to find hidden plates with wish combinations on them. There are supposedly 15 wishes in the game at the moment, and one of them gives players an exclusive emblem called Numbers of Power. Here is how players can unlock this snazzy new emblem. The leaks are coming fast and furious for Destiny 2 and showing no signs of stopping. Today, several pages from the Destiny 2 strategy guide have made their way online, and with them came even more details about Bungie’s upcoming sequel. Most details were expected, but some, like the appearance of Xur, should be considered a surprise. While Bungie never confirmed that Xur would be a part of Destiny 2, most fans figured (or at least hoped) that the Agent of the Nine would remain a part of the weekly routine....

Today Bungie pulled back the curtain on its new Destiny 2 social space, The Farm, revealing some new changes to NPCs and teasing how the area will function. As well, the developer confirmed the player count for The Farm, which is substantially larger than Destiny 1’s Tower, Reef, or Iron Temple. In Destiny 2, The Farm will support up to 26 players, as confirmed by a new IGN First video. While the video didn’t show what a full Farm social space might look like, the prospect of more people running around is sure to be exciting to fans....

Destiny has proven to be a boon for both Bungie and Activision, as upon release, the game managed to pull in and retain a passionate fanbase. Destiny is constantly evolving through updates and two previously released expansion packs, offering fans more gear, missions, and events to undertake. At E3 2015, Bungie took the time to tease fans with their next big expansion for Destiny, known as The Taken King. With even more weapons, armor, quests, and three new subclasses for players to explore in this add-on pack, fans have an additional opportunity to unlock another in-game mission with the help of energy drink maker, Red Bull....

CD Projekt Red QA lead Lukasz Babiel has already managed to unlock the coveted Cyberpunk 2077 platinum trophy on PS4, a full two months ahead of the game’s planned launch date. Babiel recently took to Twitter in order to share his achievement. You can check out the tweet below, which shows a fully complete Cyberpunk 2077 trophy list. As you can see, there are 45 trophies in total. It seems strange that only one of these trophies is gold, and that there are almost as many silver trophies as bronze trophies, but it also implies that the majority of the trophies won’t necessarily be too difficult to get....

Late last night Sony discovered an attack that was made against a large number of PSN accounts. By collecting data through other websites, hackers were able to use a combination of user names and passwords to log into various PSN accounts. Luckily, this attack only affected roughly 93,000 PS3 users - which is less than one tenth of the total registered accounts. Those that were affected have had their accounts locked down and were promptly sent an email asking the users to change their passwords....

Starfinder is technically a tabletop RPG - just like in D&D, a Game Master guides players through an imagined adventure where choices and dice decide the outcome. This audio version sees the game reimagined to work with Alexa as the Game Master. The rules are simplified to keep things moving, although Alexa will still ask you to roll a d20 on occasion. Our reviewer found it to be the perfect intro to Starfinder....
