CD Projekt Red has apparently been issuing DMCA takedown strikes on Twitter in order to stop the spread of stolen code. First discovered by a writer for Vice (via GameSpot), CD Projekt Red managed to get Twitter to remove a series of tweets that contained stolen data from the publisher’s leak earlier this month. One of the Twitter users that spoke to Vice claimed that one of the tweets hit by a DMCA takedown contained a link to a site where the source code of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game could be downloaded....

After trying out the Clone Wars Play Set for Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition at E3, we got a chance to check out even more of the game during San Diego Comic-Con 2015 this week. Again, the bulk of the demo highlighted the new Star Wars components for Disney Infinity 3.0, only this time the focus was on the Original Trilogy. While the Clone Wars portion of Disney Infinity 3.0 is decidedly more focused on combat, the Original Trilogy sections – called Rise Against the Empire – feature a lot more vehicle combat....

This challenge shines exponentially when going for the relics, which task the player with beating a level without dying under a certain time limit while hitting yellow boxes which stop the timer for anywhere between one and three seconds....

Indie developer Tuxedo Labs revealed a new gameplay video for Teardown, a creative puzzle game with a destructible environment. Some have called Teardown a chaotic, heist version of the record-setting game Minecraft as the two games have a voxel art style and Swedish developers. On Twitter, Dennis “Tuxedo Labs” Gustafsson shared a short Teardown gameplay video revealing the tests he’d done on the game’s audio. The audio test seems to be a confirmation that development is going well after the developer’s big reveal of the game back in October 2019....

The first thing I thought when I heard the title of the latest true crime documentary to arrive on Netflix, Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel was “please be the Elisa Lam case! Please be the Elisa Lam case!”. The second thing I thought was “My God, you utter monster, that was a young woman’s life”. It’s a conflict that most true crime fans juggle with constantly. We are fascinated by these cases but we know the importance of questioning our motives, of keeping the victims as people front and centre and of trying to remember that this is real life and not just something here for our entertainment....

Indie games have seen a resurgence within the public eye in recent years. Thanks to Xbox and PlayStation’s increased support of smaller developers, these types of games have become more prevalent. One indie that is synonymous with breakout success is Cuphead. Studio MDHR’s 1930s inspired masterpiece melds incredible animation, a fantastic soundtrack, and difficult gameplay. Players must defeat over a dozen different bosses to complete this adventure, and the third boss that Cuphead fights is the Clip Joint Calamity duo: Ribby and Croaks....

With next-generation consoles making their debut this week, it is expected of excited gamers to eagerly await for their new consoles to be shipped so that they could finally get their hands on them and start playing new sets of next-generation games. However, in an unusual series of events, an Xbox Series X fan has reported that a FedEx employee was allegedly trying to steal their console away from them....

During the Microsoft E3 2019 press conference, a new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer revealed that Keanu Reeves will play a role in Cyberpunk 2077. This reveal was followed by the Matrix and John Wick star appearing on stage, and he addressed the E3 audience with a statement that has since gone viral: “You’re breathtaking! You’re all breathtaking!” Now, Cyberpunk 2077 fans want to see this phrase immortalized, and they have started a petition in an attempt to make it happen....

Adam Smasher is a character in the Cyberpunk universe with rich history and lore. In previous years, he was involved in the Corporate Wars. While these are only referenced offhand in Cyberpunk 2077, they are important to Night City’s history and to understand why the city is the way it is. Still, Adam Smasher and his past with Arasaka are only mentioned minimally throughout Cyberpunk 2077’s story, despite him being the final boss of the game....

Developer From Software’s latest Dark Souls game is the final and most action-packed addition to the series. Its gothic themes and role-playing elements are astounding. To make your task of returning the five Lords of Cinder to their rightful thrones in order to link the flame possible, the game is filled with items called “Estus Shards” that increase a player’s Estus Flasks. Not a single person has beaten Dark Souls without drinking an Estus Flask....

Dead Island 2 is quickly becoming one of the definitive examples of games stuck in development hell. It’s striking and deeply unfortunate how much the sequel to Deep Silver’s significant zombie hit has struggled to release. Players have been waiting for about a decade for this game to come together, and it just can’t seem to. Dead Island 2 keeps getting passed from developer to developer, presumably largely overhauling itself in the middle of development....

What if The X-Files or Fringe had a grand unified theory that attributed all of the mysterious phenomena its government operatives investigated to one cause? Such is the question posed by Debris, J. H. Wyman’s latest sci-fi offering premiering on NBC March 1. The series’ title refers to pieces of wreckage from an alien spacecraft that induce unexplained phenomena wherever they land, including the conveyance of powers coveted by dark operatives and hoarded by government agencies....

You gotta have a Facebook account to play on Oculus. Facebook, the owners of Oculus, changed the rules earlier this month to ensure that everyone on their platform hands over all their data in order to play VR games, a move that has been roundly panned by Oculus and VR fans the world over. Now we’re finding out that it goes even further than that. Not only must you have a Facebook account to play on Oculus, but deleting your Facebook account is tantamount to deleting every game you’ve ever bought on Oculus....

Ghost Shells have been reworked entirely in Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Here’s how the new mods work. For the longest time, Guardians in Destiny 2 would basically use Ghost Shells that had either the Guiding Light, Treasure Hunter, or Speed Demon perks. All other Ghosts were essentially useless in comparison. Why would you ever deny yourself a 10% boost to XP for everything you do in an RPG? But this meant that every Guardian mostly used the same Shells, making them ubiquitous rather than a unique expression of character....

Bungie recently posted its weekly report that highlights important things happening with Destiny 2, as well as what’s going on at the studio. This week detailed the recent hotfix, upcoming PC launch, and upcoming prestige raid. It also noted feedback from players posted in the official forums. According to Bungie, there was a lot of discussion on Endgame content and how it can be improved. It appears that players aren’t entirely happy with how the Endgame is shaping up....

Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Season of the Chosen, may continue to sunsetting weapons players enjoy using, however, it also brings some new weapons for players to chase. The new sniper rifle, Frozen Orbit, has made itself known among the Destiny community as the only 72 RPM energy sniper rifle currently not sunset in Destiny 2: Beyond Light. The Frozen Orbit sniper rifle is a 72 RPM Void sniper rifle, making it unique because it is the only sniper rifle of its class that is not currently sunset....

The Destiny 2 weekly reset has occurred, refreshing players’ milestones and introducing the second Faction Rally event, both allowing players to get some brand new gear. However, that’s not the only chance to unlock some incredibly powerful loot as Lord Shaxx is offering better engrams too. Destiny 2 players who are at Power level 300 or higher (the current Power level cap is 305) are able to gain 300 Power level engrams by trading in Crucible tokens to Shaxx....
