Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be available in only a few short days and the community is eager to experience what Bungie has been cooking. Because of the expansion’s delay, Season of Arrivals has unfortunately slowed to a lull. However, game director Luke Smith confirmed on Twitter that players should look forward to an end-of-season event to play out very soon. Beyond Light is coming out on November 10 which is quite a late date from the typical Destiny expansion release window....

According to a press leak, gamers in the United Kingdom who are looking forward to the launch of Destiny 2 will be privy to receive an exclusive sparrow through Virgin Fibre should they be customers of the broadband, digital TV, landline phone, and mobile service from Virgin Media. For those customers, they can use the Athena Victorious sparrow in the science fiction shooter starting on the game’s release date on consoles in September....

Beginning on April 16 and running through May 7, Destiny 2 players will be able to check out tons of new content in the form of the Revelry Spring event. This new event is designed to celebrate the changing of the seasons, with Eva Levante offering guardians with a new activity featuring new rewards. It also introduces the Arbalest, a new exotic kinetic fusion rifle that deals extra damage to shields....

Back in April, an alleged leak for Destiny 2 came out detailing an expansion called “Collapse,” centered on the arrival of the Darkness. Within that leak had several specific details about the Darkness and what would supposedly be the main villain: The Winnower. There wasn’t much credence placed in this leak, as it was never properly sourced, but it did directly reference existing Destiny lore in many of its supposed details....

If you’re unfamiliar with the rewards structure in Trials of Osiris, there are four featured Trials of Osiris gear and weapons that you can unlock every week. These four rewards are tied with 3 wins, 5 wins, 7 wins, and by going flawless, without losing any matches. Last week, we had The Messenger (legendary pulse rifle) for three wins, helmet armor piece for five wins, class item armor for seven wins, and The Messenger (Adept) for going flawless in Trials of Osiris....

Bungie detailed a list of changes coming to the rewards system in Destiny 2 in a developer update today. Much like the previous developer update, this one was broken down into when certain aspects will make it to Destiny 2. On January 30, Masterwork Armor will be available to players. Much like their weapon counterparts, Masterwork Armor will include both fixed and re-rollable bonuses. The set bonus reduces incoming damage during the player’s super....

Many fans have been clamoring for a port of 2017’s narrative-driven tactical role-playing game Children of Zodiarcs, which was originally released only on PC and PS4. Recently, distributor Plug In Digital announced a release date for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of the single-player title developed by Cardboard Utopia. Children of Zodiarcs will be released on the Microsoft and Nintendo consoles on March 27, and preorders are already open on both the Microsoft Store and Nintendo....

The gaming world is busy with a lot of exciting news at the moment. A lot of it surrounds Blizzard, the gaming company behind the MMO juggernaut World of Warcraft. There’s not only an expansion incoming for the retail version of the game, Shadowlands, but Phase 6 is about to unroll on the Classic servers. Originally, the dates for both of these events were months apart. The expansion was scheduled for October, and the patch for Phase 6 expected on December 1st....

Cliff Bleszinski, the former design director for Epic Games, has never been afraid to burn a few bridges to get his point across. In a post on Twitter, the Gears of War designer let loose on the failure of his PS4 console exclusive LawBreakers and why he probably didn’t make the wisest choice in going with Sony’s machine for the title. Bleszinski mused that “when people follow your career from a beloved series such as Gears on Xbox,” it would have made more sense to continue working with the crowd that supported him, referring to the fans of Microsoft’s Xbox One....
