Capcom announces its lineup for this year’s Tokyo Game Show, with the company bringing Resident Evil 7, two Monster Hunter games, and Project Palm to TGS 2016. Each year, there are three major events that typically bring the biggest gaming reveals and announcements: E3 in June, gamescom in August, and Tokyo Game Show in September. One company that plans on being at this year’s Tokyo Game Show in a big way is Capcom, as it has already announced four games that it will be showcasing at the event....

Retail company GameStop uses Imgur to promote the upcoming release of The Division, allowing gamers to click their way through a ‘choose your own adventure’ sequence of pages. When it comes to coming up with unique ways to promote a game, GameStop is certainly on point: the retailer has made a choose your own adventure story for The Division on Imgur, a popular image hosting service. By clicking through a series of links via image captions, fans of The Division can go play through three missions, and even click through several tutorial-like descriptions of gameplay elements as well....
Well that didn’t take long. After acquiring Codemasters in February, EA today confirmed the departure of Frank Sagnier and Rashid Varachia – Codemasters former CEO and CFO, respectively. EA said this move shouldn’t come as a surprise, mentioning the departure has “always been part of the plan.” Sagnier and Varachia will remain in their current roles until the end of July, at which time Codemasters will be led by Clive Moody – SVP of product development – and Jonathan Bunney – SVP of publishing....
Battlefield 3 is going to feature some pretty large maps and skirmishes. The PC version will be featuring full on 32 vs. 32 player matches, while compromises had to be made for the consoles to ensure the experience would be just as good while keeping all of the content. The player count on console is only 12 vs. 12, a number that fans do wish was higher, but as of now, that’s the capacity....

At long last, a new Crash Bandicoot game is on the way. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is being made by Toys for Bob, the studio behind the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and looks set to revamp the franchise’s classic PlayStation 1 gameplay with a few modern twists. The trailer for the upcoming sequel highlights a couple of new masks, known as the Quantum Masks, but one should not forget the original talking heads....
The PlayStation Ireland Twitter account indicates the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy will be a timed exclusive for the PS4, prompting speculation about a multiplatform release. Many seasoned PlayStation gamers were delighted to hear that a remastered version of the first three Crash Bandicoot games was in development for the PlayStation 4 when the collection was announced at E3 2016. However, there’s now evidence that the N Sane Trilogy remaster might be a multiplatform release....
Although Crysis Remastered is due to launch for both PC and consoles, the former version will not be held back in order to compensate for console development. The news comes from our recent interview with Crytek about Crysis Remastered, during which we learned a whole lot about the studio’s upcoming shooter. For example, there is currently no graphics card on the market that can run Crysis Remastered at 30fps in 4K on its highest settings, and PC gamers will be able to avail of a total removal of level of detail limitations....
Cuphead is one of the most challenging games of the last decade. Revered for its unforgiving boss battles and stark skill curve, players are sure to struggle at several points during their playthrough. While E3 2019 may be officially over, fans are still buzzing over the excitement that Cyberpunk 2077 stirred up during Microsoft’s press conference. Following a new cinematic trailer that featured the male version of the player character V, the surprise reveal came towards the end with Keanu Reeves confirmed to be playing a character known as Johnny Silverhand. In Cyberpunk 2077, it’s not at all mandatory to pay back the money you owe Viktor. At the very start of the game, he installs some new, top of the range enhancements for V, saying you can pay him back later. While the side job “Paid in Full” will stay active until you complete it, there’s no actual ramifications for betraying his kindness - and no real reward for being true to your word, and coming back with the 21,000 eddies....
When Hideo Kojima, the creative genius behind Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders, tells the gaming world about his next project, it will inevitably catch everyone’s attention. Fresh off a rocky end to his relationship with Konami, Kojima’s then-newly formed studio Kojima Productions shocked the world when it unveiled Death Stranding at E3 2016. Deimos: Arcana adds a ton of stuff to Mars’s most Infested moon, starting with a brand new Necramech. Called “Bonewidow,” this new Warhammer-inspired mecha comes with a shield and sword to both bash and stab your enemies. You can even impale Infested Runners and then throw them at more Infested for additional crowd control....
William Shakespeare’s Macbeth has proven to be one of the Bard’s most elusive tragedies for filmmakers. Despite being among his best known plays and full of visceral imagery like witches and war, murders and revenge, this allegedly cursed title has appeared genuinely damned on-screen. It thwarted masters like Roman Polanski and defeated would-be revisionists, such as Justin Kurzel only six years ago. But with Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth, a haunting and meditative work from one-half of the Coen Brothers, the Scottish play finally gets its due....
For a variety of reasons, Bungie can’t quite get that old school Halo love back for Destiny… or any of its updates, in-game events or DLC plans. Instead, the massively budgeted FPS MMO hybrid received mixed reviews and the reaction to everything post-launch has been mixed at best as well. The game’s core design kicks in when players finish each mission and cooperative Strike in the game. By then, maybe with a few rounds of PvP multiplayer (dubbed the Crucible), they will have reached the game’s soft level cap of 20....
Bungie suggests that Destiny’s Golgoroth raid challenge is going to be far from a pushover in future, with the developer hinting that it will ‘ramp up’ the difficulty. Since its release, Destiny has managed to maintain a very dedicated fanbase, with the average player clocking in at 3 hours a day. Because of this, the hardcore Destiny user may have grown accustomed to the title’s gameplay, making the multiplayer shooter less of a challenge....
