Even as the player grows in power and becomes more confident in their abilities, there are always new challenges and more formidable creatures waiting to send them straight back to the bonfire. In Dark Souls III, the player will need every chance and every soul they can get to survive. Thankfully, there are many useful soul farming locations throughout the game where the player can grind to increase their level and overcome tough enemies....

Nearly every weapon and armor piece in Dark Souls can be upgraded by using Titanite. Unlike Dark Souls 2 and 3, the original title has multiple variants of Titanite that can make upgrading your gear rather confusing. If the Titanite variants weren’t confusing enough, they all have unique drop tables that encourage you to farm in different locations. This isn’t much of a downside, though, as most good Titanite farming methods can give you dozens of Titanite in just a few minutes....

In Days Gone, Deacon is able to reduce the threat of zombies by clearing Infestation Nests. To destroy a nest, you must burn it with a Molotov or an Incendiary Bolt. In the starting area of Cascade, Deacon is directed to a Logging Camp where there are six nests....

Dead by Daylight is getting a new killer, but he’s a bit different than anything developer Behaviour has released so far. The Trickster, a K-pop inspired villain, will accompany survivor Yun-Jin into the next update - one that Behavior created with a producer who worked with BTS. In a reveal from IGN, Behaviour explained how the studio worked with DJ Swivel, a Canadian producer who worked with BTS, and Kevin Woo, an artist from the K-pop band U-Kiss....

Tomorrow, Sony is hosting a huge PlayStation 5 event that is set to reveal some of the new games that are headed to the next-generation console, and hopefully, a showcase of the actual console itself alongside long-awaited information such as its price and specific release date. Now, a day before the event, rumors, and speculation about the games to be revealed have begun surfacing online, and the writer behind Dead Space all but confirmed that his next project will be revealed at tomorrow’s broadcast....

Death Stranding is a game that has inspired many questions, questions like “Is hiking across vast terrain to deliver packages fun?”, “What’s with the baby in a jar?”, and “Did Hideo Kojima predict the coronavirus?” But of all of these, none are as amusingly dumb as the one a certain YouTuber took it upon himself to find the answer to: “Can you write out your name with pee?” It goes without saying that the ability to relieve oneself on command, and the ability to grow blood-replenishing mushrooms with it, certainly makes for one of Death Stranding’s stranger innovations....

The first portion, Borat’s American Lockdown, expands upon the portion of the film in which the COVID-19 shutdown forces Borat to room with conspiracy theorists Jim Russell and Jerry Holleman. A highlight within the original cut, Borat’s time with Jim and Jerry hilariously juxtaposes their bewilderment at Borat’s beliefs while they unwittingly spout their own baseless political claims. It was also interesting because it showed two American’s gracious and polite enough to invite a stranger into their homes, yet still so misguided and bigoted that they held racist views and a blinding personal hatred toward President Barack Obama....

David Tennant’s transformation into serial killer Dennis Nilsen for ITV’s Des was unsettlingly convincing. It wasn’t just the physical resemblance, though under that hairstyle and behind those 1980s glasses frames, the similarity was remarkable. It was also the posture, the unwavering eye contact, and the voice; mumbling and unconcerned, listing the terrible details of Nilsen’s crimes as if reciting a recipe instead of multiple brutal murders. As Nilsen, Tennant pulled off what every actor hopes to in a real-life role – a disappearing trick....

One thing Destiny does not lack is a variety of weapons. With a large number of drops available in raids, from Xur, and in PvP gameplay, players have a wide range of guns to choose from since Destiny’s release. However, high-level players will tell a different story, as guns like Gjallarhorn become the go-to weapons for months, prompting an upcoming weapon nerf. Love it or hate it, the Gjallarhorn has become one of the central weapons of Destiny, an essential piece of every Guardian’s arsenal or the golden goose that all players seek....

Destiny: The Taken King is a huge step forward for the franchise and the game experience itself, adding in new features and fixing a lot of the problems players have vocally criticized on the Internet over the past year. The Taken King has also been lauded by critics and fans, and was the most downloaded game on day-one in PlayStation history. To many who have already sunk dozens of hours into this new expansion, its success is not surprising....

While it’s fair to say that Xur’s viability as an exotic vendor has changed a little bit now that the Three of Coins farming trick is no more, the Agent of the Nine is still a must on any Destiny veteran’s weekly agenda. Nightfall Strikes may have a chance at dropping exotics, but Xur is a lot of players’ best chance at securing some new exotic pieces that might better serve them in PvE or PvP....

Fans of Destiny 2 had been wondering what’s next following the end of The Revelry event, but Bungie has been unwilling to go into details about the upcoming season. While many prepared for a month of relative quiet, Bungie surprised the community by bringing back another classic Destiny 1 exotic through a new quest. The weekly reset also brought with it a new emblem for fans to chase known as Quarantine Zone....

Crucible is one of the most exhilarating and most played activities in Destiny 2. With multiple Crucible modes and competitions like Iron Banner and Trials, it’s safe to say that Crucible is a big part of this game. There’s a total of 31 Crucible maps in Destiny 2. 20 of them are original Destiny 2 maps. The other 11 are from the original Destiny, which were either revamped or brought back....

For those players who obtained the Witherhoard in Destiny 2 it’s important to unlock the related Catalyst, sooner rather than later. This powerful Grenade Launcher, granted as a Season Pass reward in Season 11, has gained tremendous popularity amongst the fanbase. With its incredible damage potential and damage over time from Blight, it’s a fun weapon to wield. While the weapon is simple to obtain in Destiny 2, the Catalyst can be a little tricky....

Bungie is ringing in the changes for Destiny 2’s Season of the Drifter, with less two weeks to go between now and the March 5 launch that will see the Joker’s Wild annual pass DLC become available as well. Not much is known about the Joker’s Wild at the moment but many other changes have been announced ahead of the start of season 6. According to the newest This Week At Bungie, Gambit has been altered, a change which sees the third round become a sudden death primeval rush and makes the game shorter....

Still searching for the exotic “Spicy Ramen” emote in Destiny 2? Or maybe an exotic ship or Sparrow? Well, continue to grind for them because when the game’s Season 2 begins, the majority of those items will be gone, replaced by brand new ones. In a panel at TwitchCon, Bungie revealed that seasons will be coming to Destiny 2 throughout the game’s first year, which will give players new content and provide a chance to make significant sandbox changes to the game....

For a short time during the Destiny 2 Gameplay Premiere, Bungie World Director Steve Cotton talked about what would be changing in the open world sections of Destiny 2, which fans know as Patrols. Cotton mentioned Adventures and Lost Sectors being new activities in this free-roaming mode, but besides a short description there wasn’t much more revealed. But in an interview with Glixel, Cotton went a little more in depth about what players will be able to do in Destiny 2’s four new worlds....

The secret Solstice of Heroes quest in Destiny 2 that was leaked earlier this month is live in the game, and it is less of a quest and more of a collectible. Bungie, the game’s developer, has confirmed that there are no further steps associated with the Cayde’s Spicy Ramen quest, despite players heartily hoping and trying to make it so. With today’s weekly reset, players received a new quest notification on the Director screen for the Cayde’s Spicy Ramen quest, guiding them to the Ramen shop in the Tower....

Warmind, the upcoming expansion for Destiny 2, introduces several new activities for players to enjoy, and among them are three new strikes – one exclusive for PlayStation 4 players. In a recent video with PlayStation, Warmind Design Director Evan Nikolich and Destiny 2 Sandbox Lead Josh Hamrick sat down to show off some gameplay from the new Cabal-themed strike coming to PlayStation owners with Warmind. The strike, dubbed “The Insight Terminus,” takes place on Nessus, and tasks players with hunting down a powerful Psion who is trying to tap into Vex technology....
