The highly anticipated sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 houses a reference to the popular manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki. Revealed by Ken Xyro on Twitter, it turns out that from the variety of poses available, players can select one that is specifically alluding to the long-running manga. Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red recently showed off the robust Photo Mode in-game. Players interested in this feature can select different poses, filters, effects, and more to capture memorable moments from their adventure....

Excitement for the release of Cyberpunk 2077 is steadily growing, with less than two months until the game’s November 19 launch. To capitalize on that excitement, CD Projekt Red is pointing fans to a diverse range of Cyberpunk 2077 merchandise that’s available now, or is soon to be released. One of the latest announcements is a figure of Cyberpunk 2077’s notable pre-launch character, Johnny Silverhand, as portrayed by Keanu Reeves....

It’s no secret that at last year’s E3, one of the hottest ticket games was Cyberpunk 2077. Those who are already excited for The Witcher series on Netflix may be even more excited to learn that Marc Jobst, the director behind Daredevil and The Punisher, has apparently worked on the season finale. The Witcher is set for an 8-episode run, and there is evidence that Jobst worked on at least portions of the show’s 8th episode. As a result of this revelation, there are a few unanswered questions, such as to what extent did Jobst work on the show or why Alik Sakharov, who was thought to be directing this episode, did not....

Despite fan criticisms for its PvE content, Dark Souls 2 has unquestionably the best PvP content the series has seen. The game’s wide range of weapons, spells, and the inclusion of power stancing allowed for builds and metas that were not possible in any other Dark Souls title. Variety is the spice of life in Dark Souls 2. With its forgiving respec system and mountains of items to find, making any build is easy to do....

Dark Souls 3 features some of the toughest enemies and bosses in the series. Pontiff Sulyvahn, for example, is one such boss fight that players on the verge of tears. The boss has a devastating attack pattern and also summons a clone to help him out in the second phase. The Australian Classification Board rates the unannounced Dead Island: Retro Revenge, hinting at the possibility that a new Dead Island game is in development. While fans have been waiting for the repeatedly delayed Dead Island 2, it looks like Deep Silver has started developing a new game in the series in the meantime. Reportedly entitled Dead Island: Retro Revenge, the game has been leaked by the Australian Classification Board, which has given it an M rating for bloody violence....

Demon’s Souls remake does a good job of staying true to the source material, bringing a cult classic from 2009 to life like never before with the help of the new architecture of the PS5. Many fans were thrilled to see certain nuances of the original game manifest in the remake despite their outward appearance as outdated mechanics, but there are also some things that should have changed to create a better experience all around....

As anticipation continues to mount for Destiny: The Taken King, Bungie has stayed on the ball as far as informing would-be Guardians about everything related to the upcoming expansion’s content. In fact, just recently, the studio let the public in on new details regarding the DLC’s Strikes, as well as fresh information about collectible Ghost shells that affect characters stats and add perks. Considering such upgrades, it’s arguable that Bungie has kept their diehard devotees at the forefront of their thoughts throughout the development of The Taken King, especially with the developer making sure to stay in the loop as to what fans want by asking them about their most wanted features for the action-RPG....

UPDATE: It appears this was just one of many strange occurrences after today’s reset. Trials of the Nine is now gone from The Director. It’s early Tuesday morning and although things have reset in the world of Destiny 2, not everything is as it seems. Across the board, things are decidedly different in Destiny 2, starting with the fact that Trials of the Nine is still active. While Bungie never stated when/if Trials of the Nine would end, most assumed that the endgame PvP experience would work like Trials of Osiris in Destiny 1....

Destiny 2 has debuted a new PvP map called Altar of Flame and a new mode called Survival, which will be part of the Competitive playlist in Destiny 2. As a reminder, there are two PvP playlists in the game: Quick Play that will be for more casual and fun gameplay types such as Control and Clash, while Competitive will feature more intense playlists like Survival and Countdown. Bungie’s Lars Bakken calls Survival the spiritual successor to Destiny 1’s Skirmish game type....

In just under two hours, the members of the Tier 1 clan were able to complete Scourge of the Past, the new Destiny 2 raid included with the Black Armory DLC. But while the accomplishment is no doubt impressive and has been acknowledged by Bungie, it apparently has some controversy involved. The confusion regarding the world’s first Destiny 2 raid completion stems from revives. Apparently, the Tier 1 clan had more than the usual number of revive tokens available – usually it is only one per person....

A hidden message in the Curse of Osiris expansion has been discovered by Destiny 2 players, revealing a warning regarding the set-up for the upcoming Forsaken expansion that was left unheeded. The Destiny Ghost Stories Lore Discord community reportedly received a hot tip about undiscovered lore in a Curse of Osiris weapon. After “a lot of digging and discussion” the message CROW UNTRUSTWORTHY DESIRES POWER was decoded from the lore tab of Destiny 2’s Telesto Exotic Fusion Rifle....

Final Fantasy XIV players in China are eating ludicrous amounts of food in order to get a free Fat Black Chocobo. Final Fantasy XIV’s latest expansion, Shadowbringers, just came out earlier this month. Along with the new world and entirely new story-based campaign, they also introduced a couple of promos to get people to buy. One of those promos was the Fat Black Chocobo. TheGamer doesn’t have any experts on animal husbandry, but we’re pretty sure a Chocobo with an eating disorder would make a pretty bad mount....

It has been six months since Capcom revealed Resident Evil 8, the upcoming installment in the RE franchise. Now that the end of the year is fast approaching, the hype for Resident Evil 8 continues to grow day-by-day, given that Capcom revealed that the game is releasing next year, though a specific date is yet to be given by the studio. Despite this, Capcom has been consistent with providing players with just enough information to keep them interested....

Call of Duty: Warzone has had plenty of weapons available for you to play with for a long time, and with the launch of a new Call of Duty game comes even more weapons to play with. You may have already been aware of the Streetsweeper shotgun when it appeared in the game early last month, but now it is officially available for everyone, if you’re willing to take on the relevant challenges....

Curt Schilling, six-time All Star and three-time World Series winner, spoke to WEEI radio in Boston earlier this morning to discuss the collapse of 38 Studios, responsible for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, as well as the loss of his personal fortune. According to Schilling, part of the blame belongs to Rhode Island officials, including Gov. Lincoln Chafee. Schilling, who used $50 million of his own money to found 38 Studios along with a $75 million loan from the state of Rhode Island, said to WEEI radio that the company could not go on any longer without raising more money from outside investors....

The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is full of colorful characters. From the spunky upstart that is Jackie Wells to the cool and collected Dexter DeShawn, players will run into a wide, varied cast while they play as V. One of those characters is Panam Palmer, a Nomad woman that V ends up helping during his romp through Night City. Panam is only really present in Cyberpunk 2077 for two missions, with the rest of her story arc being completely optional....
