The Dead or Alive franchise is back once more for its twenty-third iteration, taking the form of Dead or Alive 6. No more dallying with Xtreme spin-offs, volleyball games, or PS Vita ports, for now, because Team Ninja is back with Dead or Alive 6 for the main series of the fighting games. DoA 6 is planned to release in early 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. IGN was given exclusive access to the announcement and describes the sequel as familiar gameplay with improved visuals....
Players are descending on Destiny’s Wrath of the Machine this week, with many if not all of them in search for the raid’s newly added elemental primaries. The way to do that is by completing the two challenges in the raid, but one of those challenges has a certain quirk that can prevent players from fully completing it. The Challenge Mode in question is for Aksis, the final boss of Destiny’s latest raid....

Without a doubt, plenty of Guardians in Destiny 2 are likely preparing for the science fiction shooter’s forthcoming Prestige Leviathan Raid by getting their characters up to the appropriate power level as quickly as can be and running through the normal version of the game mode as much as possible. As promised, Bungie pulled the curtain back on the final subclass coming inside of Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Taking inspiration from ninjas, the Hunter Revenant summons a pair of kama blades known as Silence and Squall for its super. Throwing the first freezes enemies in a radius around the impact, while throwing the second kama blade will embed itself and then detonate into a stasis storm that not only tracks enemies, but slows and damages them over time....
A lot is changing for Destiny 2 this fall, including a new “entry point” (as developer Bungie is describing it) for the game called Destiny 2: New Light. In effect, New Light is a free-to-play version of the game that allows anyone to play a portion of the game’s content without paying a dime. But when the announcement was made, it was a little vague on what exactly that content would include....
While most players are focused on the main content of Destiny 2, which is set to release in less than a week, others are still curious about what’s next. Destiny 2 may start on September 6th, but there is still much more on the calendar that Bungie has yet to reveal. And if a recent report is to be believed, then the next major step for Destiny 2 may come in December....
Destiny 2’s raids may not be getting any easier, but a feature is being tweaked for the sequel. As part of its ongoing promotion of the game, Bungie today revealed that the raid in Destiny 2 will have a new death penalty. While speaking to Giant Bomb, Destiny 2 director Luke Smith mentions that the new raid will have a different death penalty than in Destiny 1. He didn’t say what exactly that penalty would be, but he suggests that the days of no revives are gone, potentially for both Heroic and Normal difficulty....

Dedicated Guardians or those behind on their Season Pass can complete these challenges for a large sum of experience and Bright Dust. One of the greatest twists we saw in the Xbox & Bethesda showcase was Sea of Thieves: A Pirates Life, which is a crossover between the iconic Sea of Thieves game and Pirates of the Caribbean. Surely, a character as iconic as Stephen King‘s psychotic fiction fan needs no prologue in 2019. A ham-handed “Misery: The Beginning” Hollywood movie would almost certainly defile the character worse than when Paul Sheldon decided to kill off his most famous heroine. Yet, here is Castle Rock to prove me completely wrong....
