Since the level cap in Forsaken has been raised to 50, players are looking for more ways to level up after completing the main Forsaken story. But for fans that are just looking to have fun in The Crucible, it has been confirmed that new Crucible maps from Forsaken will be available soon....
Free-to-play sci-fi galactic warfare MMORPG Vendetta Online recently received a major update that affects all player-owned capital ships, along with an update for capital ship hulk debris and temporary kill-on-sight enhancements. The updates were announced via the Vendetta Online newsletter (here’s the web version) and on the official Vendetta Online website. In an attempt to bring an increased level of deep space immersion, most player-owned and NPC capital ships will now leave behind a damaged ‘hulk’ object, representing a destroyed ship accompanied by a small debris field surrounding it....

Bossa Studios recently announced the latest update for its zany VR surgery room game Surgeon Simulator 2. The update is called Clinical Trials, and rather than simply adding the update to the game and calling it done, Bossa Studios has instead turned the update into a week-long competition amongst its players, with chances to win “controllers, exclusive merchandise, official branded medals”, and the grand prize – a heart of gold....
Though it is still a ways off, former Infinity Ward members Jason West and Vincent Zampella have finally had a court date set for their high profile case against Activision. Stemming from West and Zampella’s belief they were cheated out of royalties owed from Modern Warfare 2 sales, this court case could potentially decide the fate of the very lucrative Call of Duty franchise. The court date is set for May 7, 2012 (if the case goes that far), almost two years after the developers left Infinity Ward....

The internet’s favorite Dungeons & Dragons clan is officially returning. Critical Role will resume its adventures on July 2nd. Critical Role, a web series featuring professional voice actors playing Dungeons & Dragons, paused broadcasts March 17 due to the COVID-19 breakout. Because of the cast and crew size of the web show, the decision was made to keep the employees healthy and safe from the fatal virus. “The health, safety, and well-being of our company and employees is the highest priority for us and we asked our staff to begin working from home to practice social distancing last week,” the team announced via Critical Role’s website....
Beyond its challenging gameplay, the thing that stands out most about indie darling Cuphead is its beautifully-realized hand-drawn world, which looks like it was ripped straight from the theatrical cartoons of the 1930s. It’s a distinct world that lends itself well to other visual mediums, as Netflix’s upcoming TV series can attest, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to know that Cuphead is branching out into comics too. Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.05 patch is finally available for all PC and console owners, and yes, it has caused a fair few problems of its own. While the latest patch has undoubtedly sharpened things up for console owners and solved a swathe of PC-related issues, including those AMD issues, config files, and more that we’ve been talking about, it has also caused a few problems of its own - and in addition to that, some PC users complain that the new executable launcher for the game is worse than the “patched” exe that fans created themselves with a HEX editor....
Cyberpunk 2077 is a very massive game that holds so much promise. It was one of the most anticipated releases prior to its launch, but due to the massive amount of bugs, glitches, and unfulfilled promises, the game failed to fully satisfy a vast majority of the gaming community. Despite this, the game itself had its saving graces. The entire experience, if the bugs and other similar problems are removed, is fairly decent....
Much like GTA and the like, cars are a big interest for an open-world video game. You can buy the car you can’t afford in real life and take a cruise, or steal cars and run people over for… Fun? Whatever floats your boat. Acquiring cars is quite different in Cyberpunk 2077 than it is in other games with similar core gameplay. By now, fans have grown used to superheroes like Iron Man and Wolverine roaming the Fortnite map. Now that players have had some time to experiment with the Mythic Weapons based on these Marvel icons, it seems that developers are prepping to introduce yet another hero. Fortnite leakers @SizzyLeaks and @AthenaBigBoi have tweeted a video that shows new “particle” graphics that are labeled for a mysterious character, “Cherry.” Gaming veterans were quick to point out that this was most certainly a placeholder for a character yet to be introduced in Season 4, with the two most likely candidates boiling down to Captain Marvel and Ghost Rider....
Dauntless’ latest update is coming in less than a week with a bevy of new features for newcomers and veterans alike. According to developer Phoenix Labs, the Call of the Void update will introduce new gameplay and a new boss for players.
