This week, Destiny 2 players received an influx of new content thanks to the latest update from Bungie. The five classic raids can now be farmed endlessly, numerous patrol zones have evolved with new threats and an updated look, and the latest exotic quest has arrived to lead people to the very unique trace rifle known as Ruinous Effigy. Seemingly out of the blue, players also started another new quest line called Exodus: Preparation....

From April 9th to April 16th in Destiny 2, a new small-scale event called Arc Week will be taking place in-game. Besides adding Arc Singe modifiers, Arc bounties, and new Arc Week emotes, the game will also make changes to nearly every original Arc-based subclass in the game. The changes are leaning far into making these subclasses feel more powerful and giving players more reasons to select them. Striker Titan In the Code of the Juggernaut branch of the Striker, the idea is for melee damage and gunplay to feed synergistically off each other, with the Frontal Assault perk giving an instant reload and increased stability upon a melee hit and the Knockout perk activating once players have dealt considerable damage to an enemy, giving increased melee range and damage....
Destiny 2’s Season of the Drifter starts March 5 and with it the brand new Gambit Prime mode for Annual Pass owners. Gambit Prime is a one-round spin on Gambit’s intense combination of PvE and PvP combat and a core part of that high-intensity gameplay will be the introduction of roles and armor sets. Today Bungie detailed what those roles will be in a new trailer. As previously revealed, there are four roles coming for Gambit Prime during the Season of the Drifter: Reaper, Sentry, Collector, and Invader....
Destiny 2 has plans to recognize those who have played Destiny 1 in a special way within the game itself, according to the game’s director Luke Smith. Developer Bungie has already shown off some of the rewards coming for veteran players that will come in the form of emblems that are earned based on the activity and achievements of fans who played the first game.
