Capcom has some disappointing news for fans of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the company has made the tough decision to indefinitely delay all future updates to the popular hunting simulator. In a post on Twitter, the company gave a brief explanation and apologized to fans for the announcement. With the console and PC versions now in synchronization for updates, this means both versions can expect to wait a bit for the Alatreon update....
It was recently revealed by Capcom that the company became a victim of a cyber attack from a currently unknown third party. This attack occurred during early in the day on November 2nd with Capcom putting out a statement on the incident on November 5th on Capcom’s website. By looking at the original statement, Capcom revealed that the attack influenced internal file servers for the company as well as email servers....

A new website suggests that the classic board game HeroQuest may be staging a comeback. A countdown timer teases a major announcement on Monday, Sept. 21st, although little is known about the upcoming revival. HeroQuest was a popular tabletop role-playing game in the late 1980s and 1990s. The game provided everything players needed to role-play through a dungeon-crawling adventure. Relatively simple gameplay allowed the game to be accessible to those just getting started with tabletop role-playing....
After an abysmal 2020, Counter-Logic Gaming has decided to part ways with League of Legends coaches Ssong and Weldon. Coach Ssong previously coached successful Korean teams like the Koo Tigers and Longzhu. Regardless of his former success, his track record in North America is less than stellar. He started strong, enjoying successful seasons with Immortals and TSM. The success, however, did not last. He has not coached a team to the World Championship since 2017....

Activision is giving Black Ops Cold War players an extra day of open beta access. Scheduled to end earlier today, the beta will now run until October 20 at 1:00pm ET. Activision and Treyarch are tacking on an extra 24 hours as a community reward for solving the coded emails that went out to subscribers over the past few days. Once deciphered, the emails led to access codes, phone numbers, and websites that provided additional information needed to solve the puzzle....

Since it was first announced in 2019, many gamers have been eager to play the 2D pixel platformer Cyber Shadow. The game is developed by Mechanical Head Games, headed by Aarne “MekaSkull” Hunziker. After working on this passion project for quite some time, Hunziker teamed up with Yacht Club Games, developers of the Shovel Knight series, to help bring this game to audiences on multiple platforms.
