Dead by Daylight hackers better beware, as the game’s developers have posted a long list of misdemeanors that can now see players getting banned for performing. According to Behaviour Interactive, a squad of heavily armed Community Moderators aim to crack down on reported issues, whether they involve cheating or just simply abusive play. The game, which pits four survivors against one often supernatural killer, has long suffered from a range of matchmaking issues including hacking and the use of bots....

The rogue-lite Metroidvania Dead Cells is jumping into the festivities with its own Christmas-themed update, one that lets you change all the food in-game to cheese and don a red-and-white Santa costume or a Frosty the Snowman getup. Another week, another information dump by Bungie in advance of Destiny 2: Beyond Light. With the expansion now only weeks away, Bungie revealed how weapons are changing in the expansion. Weapons and the various frames are all being adjusted, especially the different hand cannon types and their rate of fire. Aggressive hand cannons now have a rate of fire increased to 120 and players can better custom tune their stats. Lightweight frames have been folded into the Adaptive (140 RoF) subfamily, though Bungie has teased that the Sunshot exotic hand cannon will retain the 150 rate of fire....

Even though Destiny 2: Beyond Light is still two months away, new information regarding the anticipated expansion continues to arrive. This week gave players a detailed look at two of the new Stasis powered subclasses for the Warlock and Titan. The Shadebinder subclass gives Warlocks an icy Stasis staff which can not only freeze large groups of enemies, but shatter them in one fell swoop. The Titan Behemoth gains stasis crystal fists, greater mobility, and highly damaging melee attacks including multiple ways to deal with clusters of enemies....

A while back, the video game developer Bungie made mention of something called Faction Rallies that were coming to Destiny 2, but the studio didn’t provide any details as to what would be involved with them. Now, the company has decided to completely pull back the curtain on the forthcoming content by offering the full run down on how they will work and what Guardians will get by participating. As explained by Bungie in a new blog post today, Destiny 2’s Faction Rallies are a special event that are to begin with the Weekly Reset on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 2:00 AM PT / 5:00 AM ET, and they are set to run until the same times on October 3, 2017....

The first expansion coming in December for Destiny 2, titled Curse of Osiris, was officially announced and dated at Paris Game Week. The expansion centers on the exiled Warlock Osiris and will focus on the Vex as the primary enemy race involved in the story and many of the activities surrounding it. And, as is the way with Destiny, gear will reflect that. In the official release date announcement trailer, a number of weapons can be seen that carry this Vex visual theme....

With Destiny 2 preparing for the launch of its next major expansion, Bungie has committed to completely reworking the player experience by sunsetting older content and focusing on improvements to new features. Not only are some weapons and armor leaving loot pools in Beyond Light’s sunsetting efforts, but activities and missions from both the vanilla version and DLC expansions will also be on the way out in November. Yoozoo is a video game publisher based out of China that was founded by 39-year-old billionaire CEO Lin Qi in 2009, who passed away on Christmas after a suspected poisoning from an unknown source.
