Video games have evolved in considerable ways over the various gaming generations and even though great strides have been taken in the fighting genre, it hasn’t changed that much since the arcade days. There have been dozens of notable fighting franchises, some of which have survived and others that have disappeared, but Dead or Alive, is one series that remains resilient. It’s easy to write off the Dead or Alive franchise due to its titillating visuals, but there’s a lot more to these games than meets the eye....

As trainers discover how little a chance they have of hatching a Deino during Dragon Week, it has become abundantly clear that Niantic needs to reveal its hatch rates. Hatching eggs is a big part of Pokémon GO. In fact, a lot of the time, that’s the best and easiest way for trainers to get their hands on a certain type of Pokémon. At least that’s how it appears on the surface....

This week, Bungie launched Season 6 of Destiny 2, which is titled Season of the Drifter. As part of the new season, players will experience new content via the Joker’s Wild add-on including two new modes called Gambit Prime and Reckoning. But perhaps the element of Joker’s Wild that has most players excited is the return of Thorn. While the Thorn quest won’t go live in Destiny 2 until March 12th, the steps to reclaiming the exotic hand cannon are already in the game’s files....

Our good buddy Xur is back to offer Destiny 2 players a new selection of exotic items. Although Destiny 1 had plenty of lore packaged around its world and quests, most of the really interesting details were locked behind Grimoire cards, which had to be read outside of the game. For Destiny 2, Bungie tried to put more lore into the game, but live team director Christopher Barrett thinks that the studio needs to do even more. Speaking candidly on Twitter, Barrett acknowledged a question from Destiny 2 lore fans and promised the team is working to add more lore to the game and to deliver opportunities to consume lore outside of the online experience....

Since Destiny 2: Forsaken was revealed a few months ago, developers at Bungie have continued to hype The Dreaming City, a new destination within the game that aimed to be the franchise’s biggest endgame location ever made. So far, that promise seems to be holding up thanks to high-level public events, a shared activity called the Blind Well, the upcoming Last Wish raid, and plenty of secrets that players are slowly uncovering....

While Destiny challenges are nothing new, they do run the gamut. Following the terrifying release of Chapter 16 in Dead by Daylight, the Fourth Anniversary in-game event is now live from June 23 to July 7! The event features limited-time in-game mechanics, special-event hooks and generators, and cosmetics that can be earned by logging in, or completing specific challenges in a match. The Anniversary Crown is the newest in-game mechanic added during the event. This Crown Pillar will spawn randomly on each map, and any player that interacts with it, be they Survivor or Killer, will gain a golden glow for the duration of the match....
