While Destiny 2 is set to have plenty of tie-in promotions like Bungie’s collaboration with Pop-Tarts to dole out XP boosts to Guardians willing to buy boxes of the confectionery pastry delights, as one should expect, the sequel will contain plenty of content all its own. As a matter of fact, the developer recently revealed that the forthcoming science fiction shooter will contain over 80 different missions and PvE activities for players to enjoy....

Although today’s Destiny 2 hot fix was expected to address minor bugs with the game, there were quite a few meaningful changes made as well. Chief among them is a tweak to the Cayde’s Will quest that should make it much easier for players to complete. Previously, the Cayde’s Will quest had a handful of steps on the road to acquiring the Ace of Spades exotic hand cannon. Most of them were fairly standard for a Destiny 2 exotic quest but one step involving Gambit was serving as a roadblock to numerous players....

Destiny 2 servers will be going offline tomorrow for server maintenance as Bungie prepares to roll out Update 1.1.1.1. Servers are scheduled to be down from 7am to 2pm PST. Update 1.1.1.1 is set to bring a number of changes to Destiny 2. With this update, players who do not own Curse of Osiris will be allowed to participate in the Prestige Leviathan Raid once again, and will be able to earn the exotic shotgun Legend of Acrius, which is currently locked for players who have not purchased the DLC....

Winter has finally arrived in Destiny 2, as the popular Dawning event from the previous game has made its first appearance in the new Tower and also on the oft-forgotten Farm. In addition to a wintery look and feel, The Dawning brings new gameplay and content for players as well, including the fan favorite Crucible mode, Mayhem. Players can also find snow piles to throw snowballs at each other or at enemies to stun them leading to big damage....

With Destiny fans’ ongoing desire for old raids to come back to the game, one fan theorizes how refreshed raid weapons could work in the current state of the game. After Destiny’s current live event, The Dawning, ends, fans have virtually no roadmap to what lies ahead for Destiny in 2017. Despite Destiny’s developer, Bungie, saying that work on Destiny is “never finished” and that it will start up the conversation with fans about what’s next after the New Year, Destiny fans are left wondering what content can be delivered in the next year....

Being a family of vampire hunters would be strange enough for most. The Belmont Clan of Castlevania fame take it another step further though. Over thirty years worth of games, this family of monster slayers has picked up a lot of weird traits and lore that turn them from more than just dudes and ladies really good at putting stakes through hearts. Their in-game history stretches back to the Middle Ages and a lot of what we gamers know about the Belmonts has gotten twisted over multiple Castlevania games....

Following backlash about the headset’s launch price, Oculus Rift inventor Palmer Luckey reveals that the first generation headset is unlikely to drop in price. Earlier this week, there was an uproar after it was revealed that virtual reality headset Oculus Rift would be priced at $599 at launch. And that’s not including the price that players will need to shell out if they don’t have a computer powerful enough to work with the tech....

Swashbuckling rat adventure Curse of the Sea Rats is due to hit consoles next year, and developer Petoons Studio has been biding our time with concept art until then. The nautical platformer is sailing closer to completion, however recent character sketches show the genre-defining title in its infancy. Curse of the Sea Rats was first debuted at Gamescom 2019, and considered itself as a “Ratoidvania”; a new genre that blends the Metroidvania gameplay style with rodents....

Civilization 6 is seeing a resurgence in play, in part due to it being recently free on EGS and due to Civ 6’s upcoming Expansion Pass making several new additions to the game. That’s not to say it ever fell to the wayside; no, instead it’s a beautiful way to bring back lapsed fans and introduce new fans to the fun military strategy game. The first choice, though, may be one of the most important in Civilization 6....

In a surprising move earlier this week, Boss Key Productions co-founder, Cliff Bleszinski revealed that he was effectively shutting down his company and stepping away from the industry. While the studio had loads of talent and passion, its games were never able to gain any traction with fans. LawBreakers was a well-crafted arena shooter that seemed to be overshadowed by Overwatch at every turn and Radical Heights attempted to quickly cash in on the Battle Royale crazy through neon lights and an 80s style....

The futuristic dystopian setting of the cyberpunk genre is nothing new in video games but is very much alive in 2020 thanks to the hype around CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. However, back in April, developer Ion Lands released Cloudpunk, an adventure game that features all the tropes and elements that one could expect from a cyberpunk game. Cloudpunk puts players in the futuristic city of Nivalis that features a gorgeous design filled with neon lights and slick buildings....

Not a week goes by without a brand new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone update. Forget about the fact we now have Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare is still being kept extremely relevant thanks to the success of the F2P companion game, Warzone. While season two of The Mandalorian gave fans a lot to love, one of the series’ stand-out moments was the first live-action appearance of a beloved Star Wars: The Clone Wars character: Ahsoka Tano. Played by Rosario Dawson, Tano appeared in the fifth episode of the season, ‘Chapter 13: The Jedi’, in which she and the Mandalorian work together to overthrow a corrupt city magistrate. Directed by Tano’s co-creator Dave Filoni, the episode did more than just portray the Togruta Jedi’s power; it also set the character up for her own spin-off Disney Plus series....

Behavior Interactive has made great strides this year in improving Dead by Daylight, and hot on the heels of the new cross play feature, the developer has announced that you will soon have cross-progression available as well. Unfortunately, this will only extend between Steam, Stadia and later on the Nintendo Switch, as neither Xbox One or PlayStation 4 users are included. The developer states that they are nearly ready to make the feature available between Steam and Stadia through the use of a new website....

Crystal Dynamics knows the value of a clean slate; just look at the developer’s upcoming reboot Tomb Raider. Due out in March of 2013, the game strips the character of Lara Croft down to her very core, becoming a journey of self discovery for the once-firebrand protagonist. It deserts her on a desolate, long-forsaken island, turning what would have been a glorified treasure hunt in previous games into a bare-bones fight for survival....

For those diligent enough to look past the numerous technical issues present within the game, Cyberpunk 2077 boasts an incredibly broad and impressive world for players to explore and discover. In addition to the memorable and stylized environments, Cyberpunk 2077 also features a cacophony of allusions to other games in the form of collectibles and Easter Eggs. One of the most memorable of which being an Easter Egg to one of the most famous fighting game franchises of all time....

Cyberpunk 2077 is out tomorrow, but there are plenty of spoilers in the wild already and this round includes some of the game’s spicier sequences. If you’re worried about the NSFW portions of the game being ruined for you, you’re not safe on Pornhub, as the steamy romance scenes have already begun popping up there. As reported by GamingBible, tons of the first-person sex scenes have been uploaded to Pornhub. CD Projekt Red has pursued some early leakers across social media and asked fans not to share any spoilers if they snagged an early copy of the game, but Pornhub is a bit out of the left field....
