On Thursday, three-time CDL world champion Ian “Crimsix” Porter defended Daniel “Loony” Loza after Kristopher Kalhs and Spencer Chaisson, the hosts of the CAEsports podcast, criticized the Seattle Surge for signing Loony. The 27-year-old professional gamer was signed to the Seattle esports team along with Peirce “Gunless” Hillman and Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson for the 2021 CDL season. Loony had previously played for the Toronto Ultra in the inaugural season of the CDL....

Several months ago, Behaviour Interactive released Dead by Daylight’s chapter based on A Nightmare on Elm Street, which added Freddy Krueger as a new killer and incorporated a new survivor and map themed around the movies as well. Now, it appears as if the Canadian game studio is set to add another horror icon to the title, with a brand new trailer teasing the inclusion of Saw’s Jigsaw. As seen in the trailer below, it isn’t explicitly shown that Jigsaw is coming to Dead by Daylight, as Behaviour Interactive decided to go for a more subtle approach instead, teasing the character by way of footage that focuses on what appears to be the torture device known as the Reverse Beartrap set to a timer....

Previous reports that CD Projekt Red are working on multiple Cyberpunk games are false, according to the company. Perhaps it was too good to be true. Yesterday, we found out that Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red had five teams working on various projects thanks to an interview between company president Adam Kiciński and Polish financial site Bankier. In the interview, Kiciński revealed that three of those teams were working on Cyberpunk projects, which Google Translate led us to believe that at least one of those projects was completely separate and in-fact a planned follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077....

Valheim is a Viking-clad survival sandbox only available on PC, and Fable 2 is a classic fantasy romp rich with inspirations nicked from all over the genre, but it’s exclusive to Xbox. However, one fan has decided to bridge that gap by bringing Castle Fairfax to the game - it’s a sturdy, domineering sight. The project is currently a work in progress, so it’s not entirely finished, but the creator has managed to get a large amount of the general shape done as well as keeping the identity and personality of Castle Fairfax in-tact, and what’s more, it’s nicely slotted on top of a mountain, giving it a more authentic feel....

Although Bungie had previously revealed a universal launch time for Destiny 2 on PC, the developer had not offered much more than that. Today, however, Bungie revealed that pre-loading for Destiny 2 on PC will begin on October 18, giving plenty of time for players to install the sequel. When exactly pre-loading will go live on October 18th is unclear, but those who bought the game digitally should keep their eyes on Blizzard’s Battle....

About a couple of days ago, Destiny 2 players found a major secret in the science fiction shooter’s second big expansion, Warmind, with the discovery relating to an insignia in Rasputin’s chambers that appeared to be a direct reference toward some sort of puzzle needing to be solved. This revelation led to the game’s Reddit community banding together in order to get to the bottom of the situation, with the users’ efforts having now resulted in the puzzle being solved and a real life reward being uncovered....

Destiny 2 has a new focus on narrative and story, and that will include the game’s pinnacle PvE endgame activity, the raid. According to the game’s project lead Mark Noseworthy, the raid will provide players with a sense of story, history, and teases that there’s even more in store when it comes to the topic of the new raid’s story. In a recent interview with The Daily Star, Noseworthy discussed the lore and narrative landscape of Destiny 2, saying that the game will deliver story on multiple levels....

As part of Bungie Day, Destiny 2 launched a major update that included some significant changes to the skyboxes on a few planets, a new exotic weapon quest, and a few buffs/nerfs to existing weapons. However, one change that happened with the patch, and was certainly not intended, should benefit players until it’s fixed. For some reason the latest Destiny 2 update has introduced a bug into the Master difficulty Nightfall: The Ordeal Strikes that rates the enemies at 750 Power Level....

This coming Tuesday in its next update, Destiny 2 will be removing the Exodus Crash strike from the Heroic Strike playlist. This is good news for players, as certain sections of the strike can be extremely difficult, which causes many players in matchmaking to drop out, potentially leaving other players alone to complete it. This was only amplified in the Heroic Strike playlist, which has harder, higher-level enemies and modifiers to make the strike more difficult....
