Funcom’s multiplayer survival game Conan Exiles, based on the Conan the Barbarian franchise, released its major Isle of Siptah expansion through Steam Early Access last month. The Early Access release costs $19.99, with plans to increase the price once it fully launches next year, but for that fans of the game can explore a new island with its own unique creatures and a dungeon type called Vaults, as well as access new content like three armor sets....

After some cryptic messaging and a leak, developer Toys For Bob revealed Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on June 23rd, 2020 during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest. While the eighth mainline entry in the series, it is purposefully given the number four to state the game’s intention of continuing from where Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped left off. This return to form gives fans hope that It’s About Time will be the new Crash Bandicoot adventure they have been clamoring for all these years....

Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim still has fans discovering new secrets. Though the game was first released in November 2011, the open world role playing game is still promoted by the famous developer. Bethesda continues to re-release Skyrim, with an upcoming release on the Nintendo Switch and even Virtual Reality, but many gamers prefer to play the original game. With over 200 side quests to uncover, it’s no surprise that new content is often discovered....

Another Xbox Games Showcase has come and gone. While fans were largely looking forward to more details on Xbox Series X games like Halo Infinite, Microsoft rewarded its Xbox One fans with details about upcoming games for its incumbent console. One such title is the highly anticipated Crossfire X, which received a new campaign trailer today. Today’s trailer was one of the game’s first major reveals since the initial November 2019 announcement that South Korean developer Smilegate Entertainment was teaming up with Alan Wake creators Remedy Entertainment for Crossfire X’s new single-player campaign....

For a few years now, Croteam’s upcoming Serious Sam 4 had included the subtitle “Planet Badass” for maximum awesomeness. While many thought it was kind of tacky, the name was eventually dropped in favor of going with something more straightforward. Cyberpunk 2077 is the buggy nightmare that we expected it to be, but there is a chance that you can optimize the game’s often poor performance by adjusting a few key settings. The latest issue sees Cyberpunk 2077 protagonist V sleeping in a very odd position, and clever fans have already started to roll out memes about the character’s unique style of sleeping. No matter what lifepath players choose in Cyberpunk 2077, V will surely be exhausted from their life of crime when they come home....

Similar to the infamous Skyrim mod, Cyberpunk 2077 now also has its own Thomas the Tank Engine mod, but this specific mod drops him in Night City in a very unexpected way. A long time ago, a Skyrim mod created by modder Kevin Brock traded out Alduin and other dragons with Thomas the Tank Engine, complete with train whistles in the place of dragon roars and shouts. The imagery of the childish cartoon train violently murdering NPCs became so viral in the gaming community that other games began popping up with their own mods....

The pureblood Heartless in the Kingdom Hearts series are surprisingly inconsistent, with many of them only making a single appearance before being left behind for completely new designs. While some Heartless Shadows appear throughout Kingdom Hearts, half a dozen others like the Darkballs never made it to the second numbered title, only appearing again as cameos in spin-off titles. Darkballs, however, might be a thankful absence from the Kingdom Hearts titles that followed their introduction, as these Heartless are one of the more terrifying designs in the original game....

Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical 4v1 horror game that features an imposing Killer attempting to sacrifice every Survivor in a given arena before they are able to escape. That’s been the modus operandi for four years, but when Behaviour introduced its Dead by Daylight and Silent Hill crossover this week it also left open the possibility of new game modes being implemented in the future. Behaviour Interactive creative director Dave Richard said that “who knows what can happen” with new modes “as the game and its community grows” during an interview about the Chapter 16: Silent Hill reveal with the website Rely on Horror....

Behavior Interactive is all about the slow build-up of anticipation before revealing who the next Dead by Daylight Killer will be. Earlier this week, Behavior released a short teaser hinting at a Japanese theme for the next chapter of the game, which sent fans into a spiral of theories. Today, Behavior released a longer, incredibly graphic teaser with more clues as to who the next Killer will be. If Dead by Daylight is adding a Japanese Killer to the roster, there are a number of possibilities based on Japanese folklore....

Xur has returned to the tower for the weekend of February 20th, and for the first time in what feels like a long time he has given all Destiny players reason to celebrate. You can probably already guess where this is going, but read on for full details on Xur’s exotic selection and location. This week, Xur can be found next to the Crucible Quartermaster in the Tower. Just head straight down the stairs after spawning in, and it shouldn’t be too hard to find him....
