Cyberpunk 2077 and bugs has been one of the gaming world’s best love stories. CD Projekt Red recently released Patch 1.23, just ahead of the game’s return to PlayStation platforms; but as with most earlier updates, it seems to have broken an existing feature. The upcoming animated feature from DC, Batman: Death in the Family, just dropped a trailer that plays with expectations in a surprising way. This animated adaptation of the classic 80s Batman comics story Batman: Under the Red Hood looks to turn the tale into an interactive film, allowing viewers to affect what happens during critical moments. In a move reminiscent of the Black Mirror episode “Bandersnatch,” viewers will receive prompts during key story beats where they have a limited amount of time to select, via remote control, how the given scene plays out....

Today marked the beginning of a month-long promotional period for Destiny developer Bungie. Whereas in the past, Bungie preferred to keep players informed about upcoming content via Weekly Updates, they have changed things up in preparation for House of Wolves. Instead of those long written posts, Bungie is giving players guided tours of the new content, with today’s event focused on The Reef and weapon and armor upgrades. As far as upgrades are concerned, Destiny players will be happy to learn that all of their prized gear will still be relevant with House of Wolves....

There are a number of must-have weapons that have come to Destiny in the Rise of Iron expansion, that are highly effective for players in both PvE and PvP. Destiny: Rise of Iron has been out for almost a month. The new Wrath of the Machine raid has been conquered, Trials of Osiris is back in full swing, and the first Iron Banner event since the expansion has come and gone....

Bungie created the Destiny Content Vault to remove and bring back activities from Destiny 1 and Destiny 2. Bungie recently presented a list of Crucible modes that will be leaving Destiny 2 when Beyond Light launches on November 10. Bungie is reducing the PvP modes to the ones that are most often played. They explained that this decision will increase the number of players in the available playlists which will ease matchmaking....

In today’s combat stream, Bungie showed off many of the changes coming to Destiny 2’s PvP Crucible with the launch of Forsaken. Some of the changes are small tweaks to make abilities or supers more viable, while a few others will make Destiny 2 feel more like Destiny 1. Nowhere was that more evident than with melee attacks, which will now be two hit kills. Since the launch of Destiny 2, melee hits in the Crucible have been a shadow of their D1 selves....

Destiny 2 players celebrated a victory a few weeks ago. A website called PerfectAim had finally stopped selling cheat software after receiving a cease & desist letter from developer Bungie. This resulted in the Destiny 2 hack package being removed from PerfectAim’s website and for their subscribers to lose access to their precious aimbots. Unfortunately for Guardians everywhere, PerfectAim has excellent customer service. Even as they were removing their own cheats from their website, PerfectAim was researching other Destiny 2 hacks that they could direct their former customers to....
