Deep Rock Galactic recently reached an impressive sales milestone, selling more than two million units. The co-op title continues to add to its fanbase, growing what is arguably one of the biggest sleeper hits of last year. Deep Rock Galactic is a co-op shooter from Danish developer Ghost Ship Games that evokes titles like Left 4 Dead, but instead of humans trying to escape a zombie apocalypse it’s about space dwarves trying to steal precious ore from hordes of aliens....

Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train is “slaying” at box offices across the globe. It has become the highest-grossing anime film worldwide, and the second-highest-grossing anime film in the US, according to a blog post by Funimation. Even after its first opening weekend in Japan, the Demon Slayer movie made headlines by topping the country’s all-time box office weekend release charts. By the end of its run, it had raked in the equivalent of over $368 million, making it Japan’s highest-grossing anime film of all time....

It has been a little over two weeks since the Descend Beyond chapter was released in Dead by Daylight, and the newest Killer to join the Fog, the Blight, has been a big hit with players. Behavior Interactive has released a short video giving us a glimpse of how the newest characters were designed and developed, with this chapter being unique in that the Blight was first revealed and in development since last year, though we were not aware of it at the time, adding a new depth to the lore to the game....

The Destiny franchise is filled with tons of obscure quests that players spend dozens of hours completing. From small quests that grant a new weapon to Raid secrets that reveal hidden Exotics, Destiny has a wide range of content for players to uncover. Destiny 2: Forsaken shifted Destiny 2 back in that direction, filled with dozens of quests and secrets for the community to uncover. One of the first quests players will uncover is the Broken Awoken Talisman, an item that must be repaired to enter the Dreaming City....

Loot caves are nothing new to Destiny, offering players locations to easily kill hundreds of enemies, usually in order to collect the dozens of loot drops that spawn after clearing multiple waves. Currently, Solstice armor progression has become one of the primary uses of this new enemy farm, due to the need to kill thousands of enemies in order to upgrade the new gear through Majestic. Posted to Reddit by user u/PrinceNyx, this is a somewhat older enemy farm that works for farming Solstice of Heroes progress, originally credited to another user by the name of Zeldaman, although further information about this source couldn’t be found....

With the unlocking of the Bergusia Forge in Destiny 2, players can now progress the Mysterious Box quest, starting with a quest leg that requires them to get the Black Armory Key to finally open the Mysterious Box. The first step to unlocking the Black Armory key requires the previous steps of the Mysterious Box be finished, specifically, collecting the Butterfly Key, Fishhook Key, and Hand Key. As long as that has been completed, Ada-1 will have a new Black Armory Key Mold item for players to pick up, which launches the next part of the quest....

Destiny 2 just began its annual Moments of Triumph event, putting a heavy emphasis on raids this time around. This event will be fans’ last chance to acquire some memorable endgame loot. Bungie had unveiled that it will be putting a good portion of Destiny 2’s content into the Destiny Content Vault on September 22. This means that players now have a limited time to acquire many unique and coveted rewards, specifically from raids....

It’s Friday which means Destiny 2’s exotic merchant Xur has finally returned for his typically weekend stay. His visit has a little more anticipation behid it than usual since the Forsaken expansion launched only a few days ago. As it was last week, Xur is back to his original Destiny 1 ways, no longer predictably appearing in milestone locations and having his emblem removed from the map as well. In addition, players will notice that his usual stash of consumables has nearly been all removed....

Bungie just released a teaser for the trailer to its year 4 expansion for Destiny 2, and it definitely shows Europa. That’s right. A teaser for a trailer. Pretty soon, Bungie will start dropping teasers for teasers for trailers. This is a major departure for how the developer normally goes about teasing new content, which typically happens with straight forward surprise drops about a week before the season starts. Instead, Bungie is going to be dropping everything all on the same day....

Destiny 2 faces a dilemma: how to welcome new players while also satisfying the fans that have sunk up to thousands of hours into the game. Bungie has officially announced that the decision has been made, and that Destiny 2 to be a full reset. That means pretty much everything will be locked into Destiny 1, including Destiny 1 Light level, possessions, and Eververse-related items and currency. The only thing that will carry forward into Destiny 2 are the character personalizations that fans have created for the original game....

So we got Gremlins, Ghoulies, C.H.U.D., Q, The Winged Serpent, Basket Case, Troll, a double handful of others and their ensuing sequels. If you wanted to push it some, you could even toss E.T. and Ghostbusters in the mix. Despite the contemporary settings, hip jokes and cultural references, most were clearly modeled after classic ‘50s sci fi and monster movies like The Blob, most were relatively mild and family friendly (at least when compared with the nihilism of the slasher films), and a number of them went on to make lots and lots of money....
