Cyberpunk 2077 will have three “lifepaths” that will add replayability to the single-player role-playing game. Something that every game wants is replayability. For online multiplayer games, replayability is easily accomplished by people. If it’s a competitive shooter, then every match is different since they contain different people. You might have different classes or weapons to add more variety, and maps will also get changed up to keep things fresh. Things are a little trickier when it comes to single-player games....

The fact that Dungeons & Dragons is a team game is both exciting and nerve-wracking. On one hand, you can form an instant friendship with someone after you play one game with them. Taking on perils untold and performing silly voices will do that. On the other hand, you put a lot of love and care into a D&D character. Seeing them become a pile of charred bones because your “teammate” decided to steal a dragon’s gold is heartbreaking....

The popular tabletop game, Dungeons & Dragons (also known as D&D), introduced the concept of moral alignments as a simple way to explain a character’s personality. Though there are many versions of the alignment chart, the most common one places the character in the category of good or evil, then lawful, neutral, or chaotic is added on as a subdivision to further expand on what makes each character tick. With just around 2 weeks left till the release of the Demon’s Souls Remake, the world is abuzz with talk of FromSoftware games once again. And, since Dark Souls 3 was the culmination of all their efforts, we might as well talk about it. Dark Souls 3 tried to take the best aspects from previous games and implement them in its own way, and for the most part, it worked. The NPC’s especially are pretty strong in this game, and it is time to shine a light on some of the best....

With no prior notice from Bandai Namco, Dark Souls Remastered has released a day early on PC. The official release date for Dark Souls Remastered is still set for tomorrow, May 25, but the game has inexplicably become available on Steam ahead of schedule. It is quite unusual for games to release without any kind of announcement, and even then it is rarely a full day in advance. Whatever the reason may be, Dark Souls Remastered should now be present in user libraries and is available to purchase on the store page at $39....

Since it’s coming straight from Microsoft, though, it’s more likely to be true, as the company could have just accidentally displayed the day of release early. It’s worth noting that the release date is still up on the Microsoft Store at the time of this writing, although many expected it to quickly be taken down. Nevertheless, here’s a screenshot: The fact that the above date is still up on the store could suggest an official reveal is coming soon....

It doesn’t look like that many people are rolling their stats in D&D anymore. And maybe that’s a good thing. There are three ways to roll your ability scores in Dungeons & Dragons. For the longest time, the only way to do it was to roll three D6s for each ability and then assign them as you saw fit. This system, although fun, was somewhat… let’s say “random.” It meant that you might end up with a 5 intelligence or an 18 dexterity, making your character building options somewhat limited....

Dataminers who received early copies of New Pokemon Snap have discovered reserved IDs within the game’s Pokedex. First discovered by Dexerto, one such dataminer shared what looks like the entire roster of Pokemon you’ll encounter within New Pokemon Snap. In a Twitter post on Thursday, @SciresM shared the lineup but also included a bunch of blank spaces. According to @SciresM, the blank spaces are to symbolize “reserved Pokemon IDs with empty data....

In a time where almost every other game is a sequel or a remake, some gamers have been hungry to see new IPs be made, particularly by the larger triple-A companies. Unfortunately, sometimes, these companies just aren’t interested, as recently evidenced by Activision, which apparently turned down a new concept from Dead Space co-creator Glen Schofield. Schofield, who went on to establish the studio Sledgehammer Games - which was responsible for developing a few of Activision’s popular Call of Duty titles like Modern Warfare 3 - revealed in an interview with Game Informer that he pitched a new game to Activision after he left Sledgehammer to take a position at Activision (alongside Sledgehammer’s other founder, Michael Condry)....

Despite having released myriad videos of Death Stranding at this point, including its most recent showcase during Sony’s PlayStation E3 2018 press conference, it’s safe to say that the majority of fans looking forward to the game have yet to fully understand what it’s even about. The final few days of the Season of the Worthy are in full swing and yet, much remains unresolved inside of Destiny 2. With a huge Cabal warship still hurdling through space towards Earth, fans have been wondering when and how this season long issue will finally be resolved. A little datamining may have given fans a clue as a new legendary emblem called Seraph’s Wings may have given a clue, especially when combined with the weird Tower glitch discovered earlier in the season....

Destiny 2 players have already come across many of the game’s most strange and frustrating bugs. Trials of the Nine has been canceled for two weeks while developer Bungie fixes a bug, for example, and Destiny 2 PC players are facing some technical issues too. Thankfully the latest unlikely Destiny 2 bug found by players doesn’t break the game, but it may give some nightmares. In a GIF posted to social media, a Destiny 2 player named MiniCorgi showcased a bug that lets characters perform emotes in first-person instead of the default third-person view....

Before Destiny 2 launched, not many people would have guessed that shaders would be a hot topic of discussion, yet here we are. The Destiny 2 shader system at first appeared to be an answer to fans’ prayers—giving them the ability to individually color practically every item in their inventory. But problems with the system became apparent: inventory space quickly becomes limited, deleting large stacks of shaders is a tedious chore, arguably the best shaders are sold by Eververse, and more....

The PlayStation Twitch stream has confirmed that the original Guardians will receive exclusive content to identify them in Destiny 2. In a post linked on Reddit, Bungie community manager David “DeeJ” Dague announced that players of the original Destiny will have a little something special to help them stand out when Destiny 2 hits stores. “If you have played Destiny with us up to this point we will have certain identifiers so players can look at you and say, ‘You’ve been around since the beginning, you’re one of the original guardians’," DeeJ said during the stream....

Destiny 2 will continue its partnership with PlayStation to deliver exclusive content to the PS4. That’s according to the version of the new “Last Call” teaser trailer that was uploaded to YouTube by PlayStation, in which a final screen shows that PS4 users will have timed exclusive Destiny 2 content that will last for at least a year until Fall 2018. Sony will likely share more information about what the exclusives coming to the PS4 will be in the coming months, assumedly at its E3 conference (where Destiny has traditionally been shown), with the trailer’s fine print stating: “More details to come this summer....
