After putting up strong numbers on PS5 in the months following launch, Sony might have plans to bring Demon’s Souls to PS4. According to the latest PlayStation database leak, a PS4 entry for Demon’s Souls is now listed – although it’s unclear what exactly this means for the future of the title. The report comes from PlayStation Game Size, a prominent file size leaker in the gaming community. Despite bringing the discovery into the public eye, the account is quick to point out this doesn’t mean Demon’s Souls is guaranteed to be heading to PS4....

Activision made headlines last April after Bobby Kotick, perhaps gaming’s most overpaid CEO, agreed to a 50% salary cut on his next year’s compensation contract. That would drop him from $1.75 million down to just $875,000, which is still a lot, but baby steps. Frequent Activision critic CtW Group argued that the pay cut was mostly a publicity stunt and that Kotick was still being enormously overpaid due to the many awards that stack up millions upon millions in equity pay....

Destiny 2 has been out for nearly two months and developer Bungie is ready to make some changes to the Crucible that will address fan feedback across nearly all PvP game modes. Most of the upcoming changes have to do with score limits, the Mercy Rule, and spawning. One of the common experiences in Destiny 2 is that Crucible matches rarely end when a team reaches the score limit. Instead, most games conclude once the imposed timer on the game mode hits zero....

Many are looking forward to Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt Red’s upcoming role-playing game, Cyberpunk 2077. Because Cyberpunk 2077’s release date is still a long ways off, it is often rumored that it will release on next-gen consoles, perhaps even as a launch title. However, the game is confirmed to be in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, though this doesn’t rule out the possibility that the title could also launch on next-generation consoles....

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED reveals that it has no plans to bring the game to Xbox Project Scarlett, the next-generation Xbox console. After hearing about Cyberpunk 2077’s early 2020 release date, many had assumed that the game would release on Project Scarlett which is launching in holiday 2020. Speaking to Gaming Bolt at E3 2019, Cyberpunk 2077 quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz said that the developer isn’t working on a Project Scarlett version of the game....
