It seems as if an actor from the Metal Gear universe will be lending their voice talents to Kojima’s newest project, Death Stranding. While there has been no official confirmation, evidence suggests that Stefanie Joosten will be joining the cast. She is known for her role as the scantily clad sniper from Metal Gear Solid 5. This all came about after some sleuthing from Twitter users who noticed facial similarities between a new character seen in the recent Death Stranding Tokyo Game Show trailer and Joosten herself....

Ever since Netflix started releasing a list of the top 10 most popular content on the site, most subscribers of the streaming service have often wondered why a specific show or movie is considered to be the most viewed one. For almost a month now, the popular docu-series, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness have been on top of Netflix’s list, but it appears that the show has now been unseated by an older movie....

Although Destiny was already plenty packed with upgrade materials, currencies, and other consumables, the recent Dark Below expansion has introduced a few more into the fray. Exotic shards, for example, are the new upgrade material for all of Destiny’s exotic gear and weapons, replacing ascendant shards and energy. But while exotic shards may be one of the most important new upgrade materials, they are certainly not the rarest. That distinction befalls radiant shards and radiant energy, the new upgrade materials for the The Dark Below’s new selection of raid gear....

It’s been a fairly uneventful week for Destiny players, as the cycle reverts back to phase 1 for Age of Triumph. That means Crota’s End is the weekly featured raid and the Daybreak modifier is live again for the Nightfall Strike. Outside of that, though, there isn’t much happening in the game. Where is Xur? This weekend, Destiny players can find Xur in the northern section of the Tower, next to the big circular door....

Season of the Splicer recently arrived in Destiny 2 and it introduced (or reintroduced, depending on how you look at it) a character that had long been mentioned but had never been given a proper welcome–until now. Mithrax is the Fallen Kell of the House of the Light, an Eliksni faction that rejected the call of Darkness and seeks to return to the Light of the Traveler. He’s the only Fallen leader to ally themselves with the Guardians in their fight against the forces that besiege the Last City, and he’s a powerful Splicer to boot....

Those wondering when Destiny 2’s sixth season, Season of the Drifter, starts now have their answer. Developer Bungie officially announced today that Season 6 will begin at reset on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Previously, Bungie had started to advise players to start wrapping up some of their seasonal tasks by March 4th, so it was assumed March 5th would be the start of the next season, but Bungie officially confirmed it today....

Gamers who were worried that Destiny 2 would follow its predecessor’s example in terms of storytelling might feel more at ease to learn that Bungie’s upcoming FPS will not feature the infamous Grimoire Cards that were used so heavily in the first game. The collectable cards, which could be obtained by playing each of Destiny’s game modes, gave players a small insight into the backstory of the title’s universe, often being the only way that fans could learn about the game’s lore....

Destiny 2 is on its way in just a few short months, bringing players into a new part of the story as they try to rebuild civilization after the destruction of The Last City by the Cabal. Much about Destiny 2’s plot remains to be seen, but a video showing off a new social area in the game called The Farm introduced a new main Cryptarch NPC. The Cryptarch at The Farm is someone players of Destiny might already be familiar with from the Iron Temple in the Rise of Iron expansion: Tyra Karn....

This week, talk surrounding Destiny 2 started hotting up after a poster for Destiny 2 leaked online, suggesting that major announcements for the game would be coming soon. Apparently, however, German GameStop customers may not need to wait until Bungie has made any further reveals for the title, as it appears as though the game is currently available to pre-order in German GameStop stores - and on PC no less. This stems from a post made by Twitter user and Twitch mod SenSnowy, who shared an image online of his pre-order receipt....

Bungie today announced it is delaying the release of the Prestige raid for Destiny 2. Rather than let the extra challenging version of the raid launch with a known (and arguably game-breaking) exploit, Bungie has decided to fix the bug and release the Prestige Raid on October 18th. For those that may not have been following the news, there is an exploit with the Calus fight in the Leviathan Raid that removes all enemies from the Throne Room....

Bungie has been teasing fans with hints about Beyond Light for some time, but the long-awaited Destiny 2 expansion is finally right around the corner. With just over a week left before it releases, Bungie has officially published an overview calendar for the upcoming season. Fans have taken to Reddit and Twitter to comment on the Destiny 2: Beyond Light calendar, recently shared by the game’s developer Bungie. The comprehensive infographic gives players an overhead view of what’s to come once Beyond Light drops in November, and when the Season of the Hunt officially gets underway....

Now that Capcom’s highly-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 3 is out, the studio is now focused on supporting Resident Evil Resistance, which is the standalone 4v1 multiplayer game, that is included with the remake. Initially, players on the PS4 and PC encountered problems accessing Resident Evil Resistance, but it appears that the game’s servers have stabilized since. Now, in a tweet posted by the official Resident Evil Twitter account, Capcom laid out its plans and additional content that players can expect to head to Resident Evil Resistance in the months to come....

Some 44 years after it went into production, Star Trek: The Motion Picture is finally complete. We don’t say that frivolously. Star Trek: The Motion Picture is one of Hollywood’s most famous “unfinished” films. Rushing to meet a December 7, 1979 release date, with many of the visual effects being completed right up until the last possible minute by Douglas Trumbull (who had replaced the previous VFX supervisor), director Robert Wise (The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Sound of Music) pretty much just stopped working on the film, carrying the first available print on a plane to the movie’s Washington D....

After years of anticipation, 2021 saw the full release of the monstrously large “The Frontier” mod for Fallout: New Vegas. Adding three campaigns, new factions, numerous characters, and over 60 quests, The Frontier was a seven year undertaking and took dozens of modders to create. However, some fans were unhappy with the results, or at least some aspects it. A common complaint related to the story’s tone, as it features numerous sexual references and Easter Eggs, infamously including a sex scene with a Deathclaw....

Without a doubt, the loot box controversy surrounding the launch of Electronic Arts’ science fiction shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2 caused the in-game item to pop up on the radar of many regulatory commissions around the world, with countries like Belgium and the Netherlands eventually declaring some loot boxes to be be unlawful. With this being the case, Valve has officially decided to block Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players in the two aforementioned nations from opening loot boxes altogether....

Ever since Cuphead debuted with its launch last week, a plethora of fans of Studio MDHR’s run and gun indie shooter have been singing its praises, all while being put to the test with the colorful, 1930s-era cartoon-styled title challenging players with its demanding gameplay. With so many people playing the title, it makes sense that the game has now hit a sales milestone, as it has sold more than 300,000 copies on Steam since it was officially released....

Curse of Strahd is considered one of the best, if not the best Dungeons & Dragons campaigns of all time. Its setting is isolated and spooky, making it perfect for new and old players alike. There’s no need to be an expert on D&D lore - all you need to know is Strahd is bad and you need to kill him to escape his lands. Yet Strahd actually turns out to be a tragic, complex figure, something other D&D villains haven’t quite nailed....
