FromSoftware’s games are known for their boss fights, to the point where the average Soulsborne prides himself more on how many bosses there are in-game rather than their overall quality. As the first game of its kind, Demon’s Souls doesn’t have as many bosses as Dark Souls or Bloodborne, but the ones present offer gameplay challenges unseen in FromSoftware’s later work. Where Dark Souls has come to embrace fast paced, one on one duels as a norm, Demon’s Souls takes a more acade-esque approach with its bosses....

At the PS5 Future of Gaming reveal event, the Demon’s Souls remake was shown to be coming to PS5. While long time fans of the Souls series are no doubt thrilled for the game, its existence on next generation consoles has some potentially exciting implications for Bloodborne 2. This game will be the first Soulsborne game on a next generation console, so it will be paving the way for others to follow....

When Bungie revealed its content roadmap for Destiny 2 over the next few months, many players noticed that the Eater of Worlds Prestige difficulty wasn’t launching until May. Typically, the Prestige (or Heroic in Destiny 1) version released about a month after the Normal version of the raid, but Bungie was apparently doing something different. Today, we know what that something different is. In their weekly blog post, Bungie detailed the changes to Destiny 2 Prestige Raids and they are substantial....

With the Season of the Drifter beginning in Destiny 2, players are being treated with plenty of new exotics. These include the Arbalest, Liar’s Handshake, Stronghold, Getaway Artist, the return of Thorn, and more. The roadmap indicates more exotics will be added this season, though these have yet to be revealed. However, it seems possible that one of these as-of-yet unnamed exotics could be the real Gjallarhorn. Before moving forward, it’s worth mentioning that this isn’t confirmed, but that there is a small amount of evidence that Destiny 2 is bringing back Gjallarhorn....

It’s an exciting week for Destiny 2 players as Bungie is holding a series of livestreams to show off a lot of the new content and features that season 3 is going to be bringing to the game on May 8. The first livestream focused on the second expansion pack known as Warmind, which has players joining forces with the legendary hunter Ana Bray to figure out what’s going on with Rasputin while also fighting back the Hive who have taken root on Mars....

In a recent interview, Capcom’s US Vice President, Christian Svensson, sat down to discuss the company and teases the return of the Mega Man. It wasn’t too long ago that fans were excited to see Mega Man Legends 3 on shelves, but due to unfortunate circumstances the game never released....

Street Fighter 5 isn’t coming out this year - that much is a given. But ahead of its presumed launch in 2016, fans, as well as those simply interested in playing the upcoming sequel, could try it out early via a PS4 beta test Capcom announced last month. The beta was supposed to aid the developer in working on the game’s online component and balancing characters, but that unfortunately wasn’t the case....

A new DLC for the action roguelike Children of Morta has just been released, with 100% of the developer’s and publisher’s profits going to charity. Titled Paws and Claws, this DLC, which releases a month after a new character update, adds a new animal shelter system to the game which rewards players for taking care of animals. In Children of Morta, the Bergsons are beacons of hope to not just the people of Rea, but also its animals....

Crucible will remain in pre-season to address various in-game issues and to go “all-in” on just one game mode. Crucible is having a bit of a tough launch. Cuphead is about to be added to the Tesla gaming range, according to Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The popular 2017 game, which dropped for Xbox One and PC before being ported to the Nintendo Switch this year, is also set to be ported to Tesla’s Model 3, Model S, and Model X. Musk was a recent guest on Ryan McCaffery’s Ride the Lightning podcast and had quite a lot to reveal....

A Cyberpunk 2077 player accidentally got Judy Alvarez stuck in a door…someone please help her. At this point, CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 is well known for its countless bugs and performance issues since its rocky launch in December 2020, but even after a number of patches, players are still discovering, intentional or otherwise, mind-boggling glitches and bugs. A new video posted to the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit by Redditor Crabz61 shows fan-favourite character, Judy Alvarez, being caught inside a gated door, but she doesn’t seem to mind....

Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out this November, almost a decade after the game was revealed by CD Projekt Red back in 2012. Since then, the studio has achieved critical acclaim with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and the rest of the RPG industry has undergone significant changes. Once almost-universally acclaimed studios like Bethesda and BioWare have since released critical and commercial flops like Anthem and Fallout 76, while CD Projekt Red has improved its reputation over the decade to become the most valuable game studio in Europe....

Dark Souls has quickly become one of the more beloved video game franchises over the last decade. Despite most of the storytelling and lore for the world coming from environmental story-telling and item description text, fans have become enamored with the world FromSoftware created. The bosses are a big part of the game’s story and most of them are connected to the main narrative in significant ways. That being said, there’s a good chance that most players missed a piece of lore here and there during their first playthrough of Dark Souls....

Darkest Dungeon will have you testing your courage and your sanity as you delve into the depths of your old family estate. The estate is split into various dungeons that are home to particular enemy types and bosses. One of the dungeon areas is the Cove, and it is here where you will find the Sunken Crew boss. Like all bosses, the Sunken Crew has three different variants of differing difficulties, and its name changes to reflect that....

Demon’s Souls is still on a lot of people’s minds after the remake by Bluepoint Games launched alongside the PlayStation 5.
