When the developers of turn-based RPG Darkest Dungeon tweet an announcement about a DLC on April Fools’, anybody could be forgiven for assuming it’s a joke. However, Red Hook Studios clarified April 2nd that despite the questionable timing of their announcement, a Darkest Dungeon multiplayer DLC is very much in the works. Throughout its launch weekend, Bend Studio’s Days Gone has already received myriad patches concerning a number of reported gameplay bugs, frame rate issues, and audio fixes being required. Destiny 2 may live or die based on how well the game is able to deliver DLC and follow-up content, which will be key to the longterm success of the game. The D.F.A. hand cannon is an exclusive Nightfall reward that is only available when the Tree of Probabilities strike is active as the Nightfall, as it is this week. Bungie announced today that the story of Destiny 2’s infamous Warlock, Osiris, is only beginning with the recently released Curse of Osiris expansion. The studio plans to release a comic book titled Fall of Osiris which focuses on the relationship between Osiris and Ikora and the events that led to Osiris’s exile. Expect more news regarding Fall of Osiris before too long, as Bungie will be releasing the Destiny 2 comic for free sometime “soon....
Destiny 2 is set to receive a new update on Tuesday, January 29 that includes a mixture of changes to a number of weapons, supers, and to the Black Armory content. In its weekly blog, the developer Bungie detailed more weapon changes coming in Update 2.1.4 that will specifically affect grenade launchers. Grenade launchers have been in an interesting place throughout Destiny 2, falling in and out of popularity. Currently, they are not a very popular weapon class in PvP with shotguns and fusion rifles often taking the forefront over grenade launchers....
