Destiny 2 announced its ambitious plan for the rest of the game’s life in today’s livestream. Bungie aims to create a singular Destiny experience in the future, which starts with console cross-play. Bungie began its journey to bring together Destiny 2 players last year. The launch of Shadowkeep saw the base game and its first expansions go completely free, which meant players could play wherever their friends played. Forsaken and Shadowkeep are currently still sold separately on each platform, but players can carry their progress made in these DLCs from one platform to the other....

Johnny Silverhand is a very prominent character in Cyberpunk 2077 and even in the tabletop game that inspired CD Projekt Red’s title. From a different lens, he is the main protagonist of this world even though his actions and words say otherwise. Beneath the character of Johnny Silverhand is a man full of interesting backstory and details. Outside of what’s explained in the game’s main story, there are more things about Johnny Silverhand that makes him an even more complex character than initially portrayed....

Cyberpunk 2077 is still scheduled to release on December 10th (at least for now), and as we get down to the wire, several publications are getting the honor of previewing Cyberpunk 2077. PC Gamer seems to have gotten first dibs. Andy Kelly has played a bunch of Cyberpunk and has documented his discoveries in a recent article. Perhaps the most notable discovery was Night City’s red light district, which is playfully called Jig Jig street....

Of all the games released in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 may have been the most highly anticipated. A project nearly a decade in the making, Cyberpunk 2077 promised fans a living city to explore, complete with a cast of rich characters and innovations that would redefine RPGs. After spending dozens of hours exploring what Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer, it’s clear many of those promises were empty. The game puts players in the shoes of V, whose origin is dependant on which of three lifepaths the player chooses....

It should be no surprise to any fans of CD Projekt Red, but Cyberpunk 2077 is going to feature a lot of adult themes. As with previous games from the studio, explicit content isn’t being cut down or censored for Cyberpunk, especially if a recent Brazilian rating is anything to go by. As discovered by a few different outlets, the list of adult content featured in Cyberpunk 2077 is quite hefty....

From Software’s Dark Souls 3 is a massive game with many complicated gameplay interactions, but some players might not be aware of the its many secrets. Dark Souls 3 isn’t just a game that brutally beats down its players and somehow charms them into coming back for more. From Software’s newest, and apparently last, entry into the Souls series also features some of the deepest, nuanced gameplay available in the industry today....

In an interview posted on David Jaffe’s YouTube channel, Days Gone writer/co-director John Garvin (who has since left developer Bend Studios over what was implied to be personality differences) suggested that part of the reason why the game will reportedly not be getting a sequel is that not enough people bought it at full price. “I do have an opinion on something that your audience may find of interest, and it might piss some of them off,” said Garvin....

It takes a lot of work to level the various survivors in Dead By Daylight. There are 22 Survivors at this point, each can be leveled to 50, and each can be prestiged three times. It takes a little over 1.6 million Bloodpoints to get a character from level one to level 50. To get all survivors fully prestiged would take a horrifying 105 million Bloodpoints. Even if the player is looking to maximize one or two survivors, it’s still a lot of work....

This review contains spoilers. In the end, it wasn’t playing any kind of game. Deadwater Fell’s first two episodes may have presented as a guess-the-villain thriller – a small community, an appalling crime, a cast of suspects, emerging clues – but by the second half, there was no need for guesswork. The mystery trappings had fallen away, leaving behind a raw, emotional drama that told the simplest and saddest of stories....

As the initial boss of the Prison of Hope and guarding force presiding over 3-2, the Fool’s Idol stands out in Demon’s Souls as among the most interesting and forgiving fights in the game. With four arms, two of which are wielding a stick and a book, this doll-like demon takes on a slight mirror image of the Hindu God Vishnu. What makes this boss battle so intriguing is the fact that the Fool’s Idol can not only multiply but even be revived, which forces you to replay the entire fight and may make those unaware of this condition more than a bit frustrated and confused....

2020 felt like a month of Sundays for many people and as a result, they may have missed Desperados 3 releasing. The first game in the Desperados franchise since 2006, it’s a wild western tactical stealth game that is an absolute joy to play through. With Bounty Mode and the ability to make custom maps added recently, more players than ever before are giving it a try. While a few fan-favorite characters of the franchise like Hawkeye, Sam, and Sanchez didn’t make the final game, two new characters have joined the fray in this newest title....

Desperados 3 is a tactical stealth game based in the wild west developed by Mimimi Games. As one of the most underrated games of 2020, many anticipated–or at least hoped–that Desperados 3 would make its way to the Nintendo Switch. But that looks to not be the case. There have been some very solid ports to the Nintendo Switch; some of which have come in creative ways. A game like Doom 3 reviewed very well on the Switch, even though graphically it looks rather dull....

Coming off a week that did little to excite Destiny players, the Agent of the Nine Xur was poised to continue his disappointing downward trend. Still, players continue to hold out hope that he might one day follow up his fantastic Ice Breaker offering with the creme de la creme. Would this be the week? Read on to find out. With the Destiny Content Vault quickly approaching, many Guardians are attempting to brave Destiny 2’s toughest challenges before they are vaulted when Beyond Light launches. One of the most rewarding raids in the game is Scourge of the Past, a raid in the Last City that houses one of the best Exotics and the best Sparrow in the game. However, many players have taken to skipping this raid due to the unique map mechanic....

Solstice of Heroes returns for Destiny 2’s third year with a new armor set to earn for each character alongside dozens of new Eververse cosmetics. Similar to Year 2, players will be given an armor set from Eva Levante in the Tower that has challenges tied to each piece. Completing these challenges will rank up the armor and grant new challenges. Unlike last year, players can unlock a white glow on their armor upon completing every challenge on the Magnificent armor set, the highest tier of Solstice armor....

With the conclusion of the final Faction Rally of Destiny 2’s third season, New Monarchy has come out on top. That gives each faction one win for this season, giving players the opportunity to pick up each faction’s featured weapon this season. After Dead Orbit won the first faction rally of Destiny 2’s Season 3 and Future War Cult took the win on the last one, players indeed rallied around New Monarchy helping the faction be the winner....

Infusion returns to Destiny 2, but the system has been changed just a bit. Infusion, for those unfamiliar, allows players to take an unwanted piece of gear that has a higher Power level and use it to level up a piece of “better” gear that is of a lower level. Infusion debuted in The Taken King expansion of Destiny 1, and even saw some changes throughout the lifespan of the first game....

Destiny 2 is known for its grinds. Whether it’s obtaining the Luna’s Howl hand cannon or simply farming for mods and components, there’s a little bit of it all in Bungie’s online-only first-person shooter. Now, for this week, there’s a quick way to farm for mods and components. To do so, players will want to complete The Hangman heroic adventure in Destiny 2: Forsaken. Taking only about 6 minutes to complete, The Hangman will drop a weapon or armor piece with a mod nearly every run....

Destiny 2 has launched the Beyond Light expansion, filing some of its older content away in the Destiny Content Vault, and bringing back some content from the original Destiny along with brand new experiences. The base game story campaign for Destiny 2, as well as the Curse of Osiris and Warmind expansions, have been locked away in the vault, though fans of the game should still be able to access the legacy Forsaken and Shadowkeep campaigns....
