Last year with the launch of Beyond Light, Bungie introduced Destiny 2’s first Darkness-based subclass, Stasis, which has been in the spotlight for being overpowered compared to other Light-based subclasses. However, Bungie is finally making some sound changes to the Stasis subclass on all three classes this week.

Stasis in Destiny 2 is not only a subclass, but it’s a brand-new weapon damage type. With Beyond Light, Bungie added only one Stasis weapon - Salvation’s Grip, but has now promised more will be coming throughout this year.

In Road to The Witch Queen blog-post, assistant game director Joe Blackburn went into great depth on how Bungie is planning the future of Destiny and the evolving worlds inside the Destiny 2 universe. He revealed that in Season 15, players can expect the “first round of Legendary Stasis Energy and Power weapons.”

We don’t know how many weapons will be added in season 15 right now, but hopefully, Bungie will reveal more on these weapons closer to the launch of season 15. Right now, we are in season 13 of Destiny 2 which is halfway done. Later this season, players can partake in the Guardian Games event with new loot and cosmetics. Some of these cosmetics have already been datamined from the Bungie API. You can check out these rewards here.

Apart from that, Bungie also released the Grandmaster Nightfalls for the first time in Season of the Chosen. This time, players can unlock Adept versions of nightfall-specific weapons by completing the GM Nightfalls. Bungie also added Adept mods that can be unlocked from these GM Nightfalls or by going flawless in Trials of Osiris, which is pretty hard for casual Destiny 2 players.

We already have the release and end date for the next season - season 14, in Destiny 2 that will be adding the classic Destiny 1 raid - Vault of Glass. Players have been waiting for more details about this and the rewards that they can unlock from this returning raid.
