Almost three years after its release, Destiny 2 remains a highly popular multiplayer first-person shooter. Its partnership with Twitch Prime Rewards, which provides subscribed players with special loot every month, is going to be extended by another four months.
In a world where free-to-play multiplayer games are incredibly popular with both players and publishers, getting hold of exclusive rewards and loot is one of the best ways for players to improve their chances in competitive games like Destiny 2. This can be frustrating for many gamers who prefer an even playing field, as the choice of games without loot boxes or equivalents is reduced.
Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and is expected to be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at launch in late 2020.
