It seems that Destiny 2: Beyond Light’s Europa has a few secrets for players to discover over the coming months. Some Guardians have found a few secrets already such as collectible penguins, hidden loot platforms, and dead Exos.
One secret item that is tied directly with Stasis is Entropic Shards. These Darkness shards must be broken for Guardians to unlock their first Stasis Aspect. There are nine Entropic Shards you can find on Europa. Similar to the Dreaming City eggs, you can only destroy Entropic Shards with the Salvation’s Grip Exotic Grenade Launcher. For those looking to earn their first Aspect or obtain a Stasis Shard, here are all nine Entropic Shard locations in Destiny 2: Beyond Light.
Kell’s Rising
After you obtain the Salvation’s Grip Exotic Grenade Launcher, head to Charon’s Crossing and look for the campaign mission “Stealing Stasis” banner found outside. This will spawn you at the top-most region of Kell’s Rising.
From the start of the level, progress through the linear path until you reach two parallel tubes that connect towards a building. Walk onto the tubes, turn 90-degrees to your left, then jump on top of the platform below. Under the small set of stairs is an Entropic Shard.
Riis-Reborn Approach
Make your way to the Riis-Approach and enter the second gravity lift that takes you towards the Kell’s Rising teleporter. Instead of walking up the stairs that lead to the teleporter room above, walk around the stairs and crouch under them. The Entropic Shard should be in plain sight.
Technocrat’s Iron
When you reach the end of Riis-Reborn Approach, you will come across a fork that leads one of two directions. You want to go left to reach the Technocrat’s Iron. Follow the linear path outside and make your way to the adjacent building.
Cross the railway that leads into a massive circular structure, then follow a similar railway to your right to cross the entire room. Jump up, then run through the small corridor that’s dead ahead. At the end of it is a massive circular arena. This is the same room that player’s fight a giant Fallen Brig boss at. From the entrance of this room, look to your right and slightly up. One Entropic Shard will be floating next to a pillar.
Eventide Ruins
From the Asterion Abyss, head to the north-bound path that leads to the Eventide Ruins. Once the path splits and begins to guide you to the left, there should be a piece of a destroyed building at the center of the fork. Run under the debris to find an Entropic Shard.
Bunker E15
Make your way through the Bunker E15 Lost Sector as normal until you reach an open arena that has multiple Vex cage cells and Hobgoblins. Facing the exit of the room, turn to your seven o’clock position and look up towards a narrow platform. An Entropic Shard will be just visible at the end of that platform. You might need to jump onto the platform to get a clear shot of the Entropic Shard.
Asterion Abyss
Travel to the Asterion Abyss on Europa and make your way to the largest Vex structure jutting out of the ground at a 45-degree angle. It appears as an inverted “C” on the map.
Climb up onto the top-left portion of the platform to find an Entropic Shard. It is just under the first “A” in Asterion Abyss on the map.
Concealed Void
Enter the Concealed Void Lost Sector and clear out the area as normal. When you reach the final boss room, look for a square cut in the ceiling that is emitting yellow light. You will find the Entropic Shard floating in the middle of that pillar of light.
Cadmus Ridge
Cadmus Ridge has an Entropic Shard that can be found on the top-left portion of the map. From Charon’s Crossing, drive towards Cadmus Ridge and head to the outskirts of the Bray Exoscience building.
Instead of entering the building, follow the ice wall on your right until it ends. The Entropic Shard should be in plain view at the corner of the wall.
Creation
Spoiler warning for the “Lost Lament” quest.
There is a point in the “Lost Lament” quest where you will be able to enter a new section of Creation inside the Bray Exoscience building. Starting from the first room, make your way to the locked door in the lobby overlook. Follow the path until you reach a massive room that appears to be a tunnel. Make your way to the metal platforms to the left of the room and jump down to the closest platform below.
Once you land, head to the edge of the platform and look down to find an Entropic Shard floating beside multiple black wires. If it is hard to see, you can jump down to the metal platforms below and look straight up to get a better view.
If you have not started the “Lost Lament” quest and wish to obtain the Entropic Shard, YouTuber Esoterickk has a method of glitching into the area you can view here.
