Titles are unique phrases that appear under a player’s name in Destiny 2, denoting a list of difficult triumphs they completed. These titles can range from mastering a raid’s mechanics to collecting a wide range of items.

One of the newer titles introduced in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is Harbinger, a title that revolves around mastering certain activities on the Moon. Nightmare Hunts, the Pit of Heresy dungeon, and the Altars of Sorrow are the main activities players will need to master to obtain this prestigious title. Here is a complete guide on how to obtain the Harbinger title in Destiny 2.

10 Lunar Rover Badge

As with most titles, players will need to obtain a badge as one of the triumphs. The Lunar Rover badge tied to Harbinger is one of the harder badges to earn.

Players will need to obtain the full Dreambane Armor set from the campaign, complete Pit of Heresy encounters for the Premonition Pulse Rifle, complete every artifact for Eris Morn for the Sparrow, and complete the rest of Harbinger’s requirements to obtain the rest of this badge. It’s a lengthy process, but it should be a passive grind excluding the Eris Morn weekly artifacts.

9 Nightmare Hunts Time-Trial Master

This triumph asks players to complete every Nightmare Hunt on the Moon under a set time limit. Thing is, the game doesn’t give actual times for each Nightmare Hunt.

Players must defeat Taniks in under 7 minutes, Skolas in 8, Ghaul in 9, Phogoth in 10, Omnigul in 10, The Fanatic in 11, Zydron in 12, and Crota within 15 minutes. These all must be completed on Master difficulty to count.

8 Flawless Master Nightmare Hunt

Master Nightmare Hunts are hard enough, but this next triumph takes it to a whole new difficulty spectrum. The Flawless Master Nightmare Hunt triumph requires players to complete a Master Nightmare Hunt without dying.

The specific Nightmare Hunt does not matter and the time limit is irrelevant for this. It’s best to level up as much as possible and bring Nightmare Hunt mods from Season of Undying to make the boss fight itself easier. Protective Light, faction Barrier mods, and long-ranged weapons are best for this. Phogoth is the easiest of the bunch for this challenge since players can take cover on the right side of the room and be safe from Phogoth’s beam attacks. Unlike most flawless challenges, the death of fireteam members does not void an attempt.

7 Symphony Of Death

Symphony of Death is the Exotic quest tied to Deathbringer, a Void Rocket Launcher that acts as a pocket Nova Bomb. The weapon itself is one of the most unique in all of Destiny, and its quest is thankfully easy to complete. Complete the Shadowkeep campaign and open the Firewalled chest in the K1 Revelation Lost Sector to start the questline. For further tips on this quest, consult this guide.

6 Altars Of Sorrow: Sorrow’s Bane

Altars of Sorrow: Sorrows Bane requires players to complete the fifth wave of Altar of Sorrow without any sacrifices going through before starting the final wave and defeating the weekly boss.

This triumph is easiest to complete with a coordinated group. Players can either join an instance filled with other Guardians to get this finished or go on LFG websites/apps to get a team together that needs this triumph. Make sure to generate Orbs of Light for the team and bring great add clear weapons such as Trinity Ghoul and Riskrunner.

5 Eternal Heretic

Eternal Heretic requires players to complete the Pit of Heresy dungeon without dying. Considering how the dungeon’s encounters are designed, this should be much easier to accomplish than completing a flawless Shattered Throne run.

The main concern is the Chamber of Suffering encounter where the player is swarmed with dozens of enemies. Warmind Cells or the Season of Dawn Protective Light mods do wonders here, allowing players to either wipe out the waves with Warmind Cells or take twice as much damage. The ball duplication glitch also allows players to skip most of the Tunnels of Despair and Zulmak encounters.

4 Usurper

Usurper is yet another Pit of Heresy triumph that asks the player to complete this dungeon start to finish solo. No fireteam members can be present during any stage of the dungeon or this challenge will be failed.

As with Eternal Heretic, take advantage of seasonal mods and the Artifact to comprise builds that excel at clearing out hordes of Hive. The Hive faction mods such as Hive Barrier and Hive Armaments are also great choices.

3 Lost No More

Unlike most hidden Ghost Shells, players will need to have a Lost Ghost Trace to interact with these. Obtain a Dead Ghosts bounty from Eris Morn to start a miniature quest to find one.

There are nine Ghosts to find on the Moon:

2 Let Them Eat Rice Cakes

Similar to the Dreaming City cats, there are strange Daito Rabbits that are hidden on the Moon. There are nine total, and players must feed these rabbits rice cakes to complete this triumph. They are not hard to find in comparison to the Dead Ghosts. A guide on finishing the triumph can be found here.

1 Wandering Nightmares

Every week, the Moon will have a certain Nightmare wandering a certain region. There are four in total that must be defeated to complete the Wandering Nightmares triumph.

The Nightmare of Xortal can be found in Sorrow’s Harbor right before the entrance to the Scarlet Keep. Nightmare of Jaxx spawns in the Hellmouth on the same platform Guardians used to start the Crota’s End raid in the original Destiny. Nightmare of Horkis can be found in the Anchor of Light inside of a cave to the right of the K1 Communion Lost Sector building. Finally, the Fallen Council Nightmare can be found in Archer’s Line on the leftmost part of the region.
