Destiny 2’s Last Wish raid holds many secrets, including the mysterious Wall of Wishes, which allows players to cast wishes that alter the raid in various ways. While there are a couple of wishes still undiscovered, the Thirteenth Wish was discovered last night, and it imposes quite a challenge on any fireteam who casts it.

The Thirteenth Wish triggers “Petra’s Run” in the Last Wish raid. Petra’s Run means that if any Destiny 2 player dies at any point in the entire raid, the fireteam is sent back to orbit and has to restart from the beginning. This challenge combines the Flawless Raider achievement in Destiny with a more ruthless version of the Extinguish modifier. Completing the run awards players with the “Petra’s Run” triumph which is needed to unlock the Rivensbane title.

This challenge is not for the faint of heart, as it will require expert coordination among fireteam members. Even one small mistake could cost a team the run, forcing them to start over. Players will want to bring their best weapons and gear to make sure they can take on all the bosses in Last Wish. This raid is very mechanic-heavy, so communication and knowledge of the raid will be necessary to complete Petra’s Run. Fights like Riven and Shuro Chi will put players to the test in this challenge, as they have very specific wipe mechanics if players step out of line.

Players will also want to make sure they are the highest power level possible before taking on this challenge. The power grind is much more in-depth than it was in the past, so anyone who doesn’t have a ton of time to play will want to make sure they are maximizing power gains every week to make sure they are getting the most out of their time in Destiny 2.

It’s great to see Bungie put a true challenge into the game. While not everyone will be able to complete this, it will definitely make those who do complete it stand out above the crowd. If players see someone with the Rivensbane title on, they will know that player beat one of the toughest challenges in Destiny history.
