Fans finally got what they wanted when Bluepoint Games granted their wishes of a Demon’s Souls remake. Paired alongside stunning PlayStation 5 graphics, similar niches easily relatable to the original, and the same infuriatingly challenging gameplay, it was a good release day knowing you could rage-quit one week later.

To start off the game, as with any Soulsbourne RPG, picking a class is crucial. It’s a personal decision with factors of strength, agility, magic, and intelligence to take into consideration, not unlike similar traits exhibited by our zodiac signs. If everyone had to choose a class IRL, the stars would align for these.

9 Knight: Taurus

Thought to be one of the most stable and grounded signs in the zodiac, it only makes sense that those who fall under the sign of Taurus would opt for the Knight class. With a nearly perfect balance of both strength and mental ability, a Taurus would find a symbiotic relationship with this class, as well as with its versatile equipment options and ability to wield magic if needed.

8 Thief: Pisces, Cancer

Pisces and Cancer are two of the most intuitive signs and, falling under the element of water, the Thief class appeals in more ways than one. While it’s not a class that promises brute force or an incredible advantage in battle with specific weapons, armor, or skill, they do have the highest luck of any of the other classes. This would endow them with the same type of intuitive luck that both water zodiac signs would likely have in real life, along with the agility and dexterity needed to evade an ambush, unseen — flowing like water, so to speak.

7 Magician: Sagittarius

The archer represented in Sagittarius’ zodiac sign might feel a pull to the Hunter class as a bow and arrow is the chosen weapon, however, the highly-evolved and advanced intelligence and comprehension of those falling under the sign of Sagittarius makes them well-suited to take on the Magician class. A class not recommended for beginners makes for a fun challenge for Sagittarius, who wields logic and reason to perfect the class. Sagittarius is also represented by the Centaur — half-man, half-horse — which was said to have possessed the same ability, strength, and skill.

6 Temple Knight: Virgo, Aquarius

The class of the Temple Knight is said to be the best beginner class choice, but its ease of use should not be reflected in the zodiac signs that choose to embody it. Virgo, the critical thinker and perfectionist, would excel with the high level of defense that comes with the Temple Knight class. Having a boost in protection allows them to carefully think out their moves (as they’re always a step ahead) while the ability to wield miracle powers will provide them an advantage that will be used well with careful consideration and quick thinking.

Aquarius might bode even better with miracle powers; the third air sign in the zodiac, those falling under this sign are strong-willed and have a strong pull toward freedom and having a fully-formed plan. A high defense will allow Aquarius to do this while the ability to call on God for protection in battle will allow them the freedom to forge on the way they see fit.

5 Soldier: Libra

Libra is represented by the scales which makes the Solider class a no-brainer. A well-balanced class indeed, Soldiers have both intelligence and strength on their side without having to worry about making up for any lacking attributes. While it is a basic class, it’s well-suited for beginners but also provides a solid advantage for those who can wield a balance between two points of power well, such as a Libra. This also keeps making decisions out of the question — something that doesn’t fall under the strong suits of this zodiac sign.

4 Wanderer: Gemini

The Wanderer class is very similar to the Thief class, except for the fact that wielding magic is not as much of an attribute, if at all. However, the Wanderer does come with high agility, meaning the class is versatile enough for a Gemini to fall in love with.

Those falling under this sign have a predetermined duality that allows them to ebb and flow according to their surroundings and social circle, and their high adaptability makes the Wanderer a great starting class for them.

3 Barbarian: Aries, Scorpio

It might sound all too cliché to have Aries and Scorpio as representatives of the Barbarian class but it’s also all too perfect. Aries, a fire sign, is known for being headstrong, impulsive, and temperamental — all traits that can be powerful just as much as they can be inhibiting. Scorpio is known for being cold and calculating at times, having a need for self-preservation while using manipulation for their own gain. Again, attributes that can be both good and bad. By choosing Barbarian as their class, they’ll both have the brute strength needed to force their way through, something both signs will undoubtedly appreciate.

2 Royalty: Leo

Another class that’s highly recommended for beginners, it also resonates well with those who fall under the sign of Leo. While this class doesn’t exude actual royal traits, it is one that deals a high amount of damage with the Soul Arrow spell, and the Silver Coronet gives a much-needed boost to MP. It’s well-balanced with the right build, a challenge that Leo is surely up to, and the stat boosts will only empower their dominance and sense of purpose.

1 Hunter: Capricorn

The Hunter class is marked by attributes such as a boost in luck, a strong archer’s arm, and a balance between strength and intuitive traits. Capricorn, by nature, is incredibly determined, a hard worker, and fully appreciates the effort it takes to be successful in life, almost to a fault. Their proficiency and dedication to the task at hand means that they’ll excel in a class such as the Hunter, stopping at nothing to take down every enemy and prove themselves worthy of the title.
