It appears as if the wait for the PC version of Death Come True isn’t going to be that long. Having recently launched on Switch and mobile devices at the end of June, the trippy, time-bending FMV mystery from Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka will be coming to PC very soon. In fact, it will launch next Friday, July 17, 2020, on the platform.
That’s really surprising and super nice. If you’re dying to get a look at it, the Steam store page is currently live. It doesn’t offer much that paints a good picture, but waiting a little more than a week isn’t so bad. For whatever reason, developer Too Kyo Games isn’t mentioning when the PS4 port will arrive, but we’ll get a taste of what this game looks like in 4K before then.
If you were worried that this would be a Japan-only release, then I have great news for you. Death Come True will be getting a worldwide release on Steam so that everyone can enjoy it at once. That follows suit with the previous releases (here is the eShop page), so we can assume this will cost $16 on release.
I’ve heard absolutely nothing about the game in the week or so since its release, so I’m hoping that just means people are being respectful of the “no spoilers” policy its developer put in place.
