Behaviour Interactive’s collaboration with Konami is the gift that keeps on giving for asymmetrical slasher game Dead By Daylight. Chapter 16 has brought the iconic horror franchise Silent Hill into the game’s roster, and the already established Legends Collection welcomes the addition of the Cybil Bennett Legendary Set.
The Silent Hill Collection has already received various outfits worn by iconic characters — including Cheryl Mason, The Executioner, and The Legion — to customize your survivor. The newly released set will allow Cheryl Mason to become Cybil Bennett, which is available for 1485 Auric Cells from the in-game store. The Cybil Bennett Set will include various styles, including a blonde bob with the option to sport the Brahm’s Police Department shirt and pants.
The arrival of the Cybil Bennett Set will celebrate the character’s first playable role within a game, which commemorates the supporting character’s step into the spotlight as a protagonist in the survival horror’s recent chapter. This particular set also gives Dead By Daylight its first outfit that can transform into another character, adding a unique quality to the anticipated collection that was announced in June.
Cybil Bennett is a Brahms police officer who assisted Harry Mason in finding his missing daughter during the events of Konami’s first Silent Hill title. Cybil is skeptical of the paranormal but strong-willed by nature, which drove her to risk her life for Cheryl Mason. Play Novel: Silent Hill — released for the Game Boy Advance in 2001 — revealed the traumatic event in Bennett’s childhood that involved the brutal murder of her parents, and was the catalyst that drove her to become a police officer. Bennett also appeared in Silent Hill: Shattered Memories in 2009, Silent Hill: Book of Memories in 2012 for the PS Vita, and was portrayed by Laurie Holden in the 2006 movie adaptation directed by Christophe Gans.
Dead By Daylight: Silent Hill uses Midwich Elementary School as its playground, and puts players in the shoes of Cheryl Mason as she navigates through the gruesome school halls to escape Pyramid Head, also known as The Executioner. Cheryl Mason is the newest survivor within the Silent Hill Chapter —replacing Heather Mason — and must battle within the Entity realm after escaping from a religious cult.
