If you’ve already completed Resident Evil 2 and 3, then Daymare 1998 is up next to play. Available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 28th, Daymare 1998 is a tribute to old school horror games that will satisfy Resident Evil fans as they wait for the next remake.
First announced as Resident Evil 2 Reborn in July 2015, Invader Games (an Italian indie studio) had to shut down after Capcom announced its Resident Evil 2 Remake. Determined to get their game out to the public, Invader Games moved on to make their own survival horror game that stood on the shoulders of its predecessor, Resident Evil 2 Reborn.
Daymare 1998 is a completely original survival horror game that warrants attention. The game revolves around Keen Sight, a quaint little town in the mountains of Idaho and all its mysteries and horrors.
Players will experience the gamer through three different perspectives in order to uncover truths about the town and the terrifying events that took place in it. Playable characters include Liev, a H.A.D.E.S special agent, Raven, a pilot of the Hexacore Airforce, and Samuel, a ranger of the Vermilion forest.
Step into a new horror that is reminiscent of Resident Evil but unique in its own way and every bit worth trying out.
