Details have been leaked in regards to new items that will soon be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers who play Fortnite.

Fortnite is the game that has well and truly taken the world by storm over the course of the last two years or so. It is estimated that there are more than eight million concurrent players of the game worldwide, truly staggering numbers. Aside from Fortnite being incredibly addictive, one of the other reasons so many people continue to play it is because it’s free.

Despite Fortnite being free, its developer Epic has still managed to make billions of dollars off the back of it. That’s because players can buy items from Fortnite’s Item Shop, or purchase a Battle Pass each season. All items are optional, and nothing you purchase will aid you in battle. It is all simply cosmetic.

Even if you don’t want to spend extra money on jazzing up your Fortnite avatar, you don’t have to necessarily remain a “default.” As if being able to play the game for free wasn’t enough, every now and again, Fortnite offers up some cosmetic features for free too. Some of those features come in the form of packs that are exclusive to PS Plus subscribers, and it seems as if the latest of these packs will be arriving very soon, according to Fortnite Insider.

The discovery was made by dataminers recently and is currently made up of two items. First, the Coaxial Blue Glider - a helicopter type glider that, in keeping with PlayStation’s other Fortnite packs, has a blue and white motif. The other unearthed item is the Blue Fusion Contrail.

While it seems pretty certain that the pack will drop soon, we currently have no news on when exactly that will be. When it does arrive, be sure to check back here for information on how PS Plus subscribers can go about getting their hands on it. There is also the very real possibility that other items will be added to the pack before its release.
