Danny Trejo just got Animal Crossing: New Horizons and he’s looking to share his Dodo code.
Man, 2020 sure is throwing us a lot of curveballs. First, there’s a global pandemic that’s forced us all to stay inside, and then Animal Crossing: New Horizons turns out to be the perfect game to keep everyone feeling connected. Even Hollywood tough guys like Danny Trejo.
You might recognize Trejo from such films as Machete, L.A. Slasher, or Slasher Party. He often plays either the villain, the henchmen, or the scary guy in the back of a bar who’s holding a knife bigger than your head. He’s also done a bunch of video games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 4.
Maybe it’s that video game experience that’s prompted Trejo to pick up Animal Crossing. Whatever the reason, the dude is asking if people want his Dodo code on Twitter, and Twitter has responded with a resounding yes. Over 4,500 people responded, with the post getting almost 200k likes and over 31k retweets.
One of the folks that asked for Trejo’s Dodo code is Gary Whitta, the host of the newly created Animal Talking late-night Animal Crossing talk show. We’ll see if Trejo decides to be their fourth guest or not.
