Earlier this year Cyberpunk 2077 was delayed from its planned April launch to September 17. But while Cyberpunk 2077 could be delayed with relative ease, its marketing partnerships were not so lucky. The special Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X is one such example. Launching it in September, with the Xbox Series X launch to follow, wouldn’t make sense, so orders for the console are live now. Luckily, Cyberpunk 2077 fans don’t seem to mind. The console is already selling out across online retailers.

With the Xbox Series X launching later this year, some may be wondering why the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X is selling out. For one, a $299 pricetag for an Xbox One X is still very good. But perhaps more important is the limited nature of the console. Only 45,000 are reportedly being made. It’s also going to be the last limited Xbox One X ever made. As such, it’s potentially going to be pretty valuable.

Of course, what may be the biggest reason for purchasing the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X is also the simplest reason. People are just that excited for Cyberpunk 2077. When Cyberpunk 2077 launches in September, next-gen consoles won’t be available. As such, the Xbox One X will almost certainly offer the best visual for the game on consoles.

Regardless of why the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X console is selling out, it’s inarguably gone from multiple retailers’ websites. People want this console, regardless of Cyberpunk 2077’s delay or the looking release of the Xbox Series X this holiday season.

In addition to the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X console, a new limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One controller is also available. Cyberpunk 2077 accessories including a charging stand, a Seagate hard drive for Xbox, and a SteelSeries headset are also available.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases September 17 on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
