The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is not only vibrant and filled with surprising details, but also inhabited by some of the most incredible characters. It’s almost impossible not to get attached to the many figures met in Night City, due to how all of them have their own humane problems and quirky personalities. In that sense, the game really has successfully delivered.
In the name of a bit of light-hearted fun, here’s which of Night City’s unique residents fits your zodiac type, independently of their actual birthdays. Be warned, however, that there might be some minor spoilers going forward, so if you’re still early into the game you might want to tread lightly.
12 Aries: Panam Palmer
Panam Palmer is hot-headed, righteous, and motivated. She’s the kind of person who likes to take charge and doesn’t give up on things easily. As an exiled Aldecaldo nomad, she almost has to be this way as she struggles between her own identity and working with her clan’s boss, Saul.
Panam is just like Aries in that regard. She has that bright, warm spark of energy that so many Aries have as well, and a thirst for action. Someone like her just doesn’t sit still and do nothing.
11 Taurus: River Ward
River Ward is not your typical NCPD detective. He’s got his own style, and most importantly, he’s surprisingly naïve and righteous for a Night City resident. His goodwill and loyalty to his family are shown strongly in his respective side quest that sends him and V on a hunt to help his nephew.
River is no doubt closest to Taurus. He’s extremely reliable and loyal, and among the most wholesome people in the game. At the same time, he can come off as a bit possessive once romanced, which is another trait of the overly loyal and committed old-fashioned Taurus.
10 Gemini: Judy Alvarez
Judy is a vibrant character that gets introduced early on through Evelyn. A braindance specialist, she’s the kind of person who has gone through a lot but still holds a kind, almost playful side to herself. Despite a tough past, she’s a smart techie who would do anything for her loved ones.
Geminis fall quite close to Judy, although she might have a slightly greater temper than a typical Gemini. Still, when all is well, Judy’s caring and easygoing attitude, as well as her endless devotion to her friends put her into the boots of a Gemini.
9 Cancer: Viktor Vector
There’s no one as comforting as Viktor Vector, V’s go-to ripperdoc. He’s the first you ever visit in Night City and goes as far as trusting you to pay back expensive Kiroshi optics. Viktor is obviously incredibly smart and has a silent, tough love kind of personality. He won’t say he cares about you, but it simply shows.
Viktor is closest to Cancers, who are incredibly loyal and determined friends. Their empathy makes them strong allies, and it’s precisely Viktor’s empathy towards V that ensures she even survives for most of the main quest.
8 Leo: Yorinobu Arasaka
The Arasakas are evidently the antagonists of the game, and Yorinobu is a special one since he aims to rebel against his father’s ambitions. Arrogant, hot-headed, and very passionate about his own beliefs, he quickly becomes one of Night City’s most powerful and dangerous figures.
Leos will most relate to Yorinobus, even if he is an Arasaka and as such a bit of a villain. That being said, the two share a similar hunger and drive for power and competition, while occasionally falling into the trap of being selfish.
7 Virgo: Evelyn Parker
Although Dexter DeShawn is the fixer who gets V’s first breakthrough job, Evelyn’s the mastermind behind the game’s first big gig. She’s a very resourceful and intelligent person, although she also comes across as a bit cryptic in her explanations of the job. Still, with her ties to the Arasakas, it’s clear she’s a hard worker.
Virgos will look up to Evelyn’s efforts in the city. She’s a smart, analytical person as most Virgos are as well, but can sometimes get lost in her own work and ambitions.
6 Libra: Hanako Arasaka
Hanako is a character you get to know a bit later on in the game. As Yorinobu’s sister, she’s much more toned down and graceful in her personality, showcasing a diplomatic approach despite no doubt also being a power-hungry Arasaka herself. However, Hanako’s devotion to her family grounds her in a way that isn’t seen in Yorinobu.
Hanako is a Libra through and through. She strives for what is right, within the confines of the system she’s in. It’s why she’s actually willing to hear out V and Takemura, as she believes in fair communication.
5 Scorpio: Rogue
Rogue is a legend, among the best fixers in Night City. To reach that, she’s had to lose and suffer quite a bit, which has made her into the tough, almost emotionless cold-hearted woman she first appears to be. However, she’s without a doubt the best friend anyone could ask for in Night City.
Rogue comes closest to Scorpios, due to how strong-willed she is. She borders on being a stubborn mule, but her courage and resourcefulness compensate for her hardened exterior.
4 Sagittarius: Jackie Welles
Jackie Welles is your first friend in the game, a character anyone will inevitably grow deeply fond of. He is not just a comedy relief, but someone with a difficult past as a former Valentino thug. Jackie cares deeply about everyone in his life and hopes to make them proud and provide them a better life.
Jackie is absolutely a Sagittarius. He’s funny and always there for V, no matter what. That being said, he wears his heart on his sleeve like any Sagittarius and will sometimes risk getting into trouble, as he almost does during the Maelstrom quest with V.
3 Capricorn: Takemura
Takemura is a surprisingly complex character, despite his old-fashioned and rude exterior personality. That being said, he does have a heart of gold buried somewhere under all that cyberware, hardened by an extremely difficult past where excellence and complete loyalty was demanded of him.
Takemura’s seriousness and strive for almost zen-like discipline and devotion for the Arasakas and the truth is something many Capricorns will relate to. Takemura can seem a bit extreme with how determined he is, but it’s also one of his greatest strengths.
2 Aquarius: Johnny Silverhand
Johnny Silverhand is the second main character, a construct that lives within V’s mind. A former hardened rocker boy and merciless terrorist who blew up Arasaka tower, he continues to have big dreams and big plans for a city he desperately wants to tear from the grip of corporate corruption.
Johnny might seem like a pessimist with how much he complains about V’s decisions, but he’s actually an idealist like so many Aquariuses. His ideas are seen as crazy and over the top by others, but an Aquarius will sympathize with his philosophical approach, as well as his infamous temper that stems from being “misunderstood.”
1 Pisces: Misty
Misty is Jackie’s fling, a specialist in tarot card readings and all things spiritual. Her little shop is where she spends most of her days, and where she helps V figure out their path by deciphering the tarot cards you can collect around Night City. Misty is soft-spoken, with a kind and shy personality.
Misty cares deeply for those around her, and she is emotional and caring like any Pisces. The artsy side of any Pisces will match that almost magical, spiritual side she has in the game.
