The announcing of the Cyberpunk 2077 delay was possibly the most disappointing bit of gaming news of 2020 - well, The Last of Us Part II’s was right up there, but the delay isn’t nearly as long - so the folks handling the game’s Twitter account found a way to make light of the situation by taking a cheeky shot after Wednesday’s SpaceX launch got called off. Mind you, the tabletop prequel RPG has been pushed back as well.
Florida’s adverse weather conditions forced NASA to postpone the flight of a SpaceX rocket carrying a pair of astronauts on Wednesday and it’s now expected that the rocket will attempt orbit this coming Saturday following years of anticipation and four years of training for astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken.

Hurley and Behnken will be the first humans to pilot spacecraft off of U.S soil and into orbit in nine years, so it was a pretty big deal for them. However, stormy weather saw to a disappointing delay.
With CD Projekt Red having pushed the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 from April 16 to September 17, they should have been the last ones to comment on such a turn of events. Yet the game’s social media team was on hand with a quip in which they were really just trolling themselves.
They were pretty handy with the responses too…
Yeah, things got pretty wild on Cyberpunk Twitter this week …
