Cyberpunk 2077 will release in less than a month for multiple platforms, barring an unlikely fourth delay. Giving credence to the game actually making its December 10 release date are photos of sealed copies in the wild that have surfaced online.

The game has already gone gold, meaning that the retail copies of a game are ready to be printed and then shipped to retailers. The fact that the game was delayed after the announcement of Cyberpunk 2077 going gold simply means that retailers have to sit on the physical copies of the game for weeks before shipping them out for the new release date. Apparently, this means that sealed copies of the game are now out in the world, earlier than games normally are before their release dates.

Many asked them questions about the game’s weight, and other Cyberpunk-related materials like collector’s editions, but all Justgonnasendit90 had to offer was a few pictures and insights into the standard version of the game. They noted that the standard version felt quite hefty, likely due to the plethora of contents, including a world compendium, a map, stickers, postcards, and the two discs needed to install Cyberpunk 2077.

The game also has a sticker on it advertising Cyberpunk 2077’s free next-gen upgrade from the PS4 to the PS5 version, a sticker which will almost certainly be on the Xbox One version of the game as well for a Series S and X upgrade.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out December 10, 2020, for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with a free next-gen upgrade planned for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
