Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of 2020 and — barring another delay — will release on September 17. And while PC and console players will be able to join in on the futuristic fun, mobile gamers are probably feeling a bit left out. It makes sense, though — after all, there’s no phone on Earth that could run something so demanding. However, a different developer, NetEase, is doing what it can to give portable gamers a dash of cyberpunk fun with its upcoming title, Code: T.

We don’t want to say that Code: T is a blatant rip-off of Cyberpunk 2077 — but from what we’ve seen so far, that’s kind of what it is. Still, the title looks to be an ambitious one. The cyberpunk genre is one that hasn’t been explored much in the gaming industry, and we say the more the merrier.

Sadly, there’s no info on what type of game Code: T will be. Is it open-world? Can we customize our player? How about online play? And most importantly, how will it be monetized? At this point we have more questions than answers, but NetEase certainly has our attention.

Code: T is yet to receive a release date or price, but should be available on both iOS and Android.
