As the world slows to a crawl from the ongoing problems of Covid-19, some businesses are doing better than others at adapting, and CD Projekt Red looks to be among those who have adapted well as Cyberpunk 2077 looks set to release on its planned date of September 17, 2020.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, the news comes from a recent call with investors outlining financial results from 2019 where senior vice president of business development Michal Nowakowski described that game as currently “in a complete form.”

Nowakowski went on to describe how current hurdles to deal with relate to obvious complications in certain localization processes. Obviously, it is not possible right now to do certain voice actor recording due to the shutdown non-essential businesses in many countries, so perhaps work continues in having actors record from home. However, the project is moving forward, it is impressive nonetheless.
