While its early launch has caused problems for the game, Cyberpunk 2o77 has a lot of gigs players can pick up for eddies, rewards, and experience. Most side gigs have a specific focus for the style of mission V is tasked to complete. Gun for Hire gigs are no exception.

Players taking on Gun for Hire gigs need to be ready to be the muscle and help take down specific targets. Some of these gigs require a minimum amount of street cred before they become available. These gigs can look simple on the surface but going in unprepared should be prepared for a serious headache.

Warning: Cyberpunk 2077 currently has a large number of glitches that can cause issues for gigs. Gigs occasionally will not spawn and players can attempt to sleep for a full 24 hours in V’s apartment or save and completely exit the game to try and fix this. Make sure that gigs are actually completed once they are finished. If they are not listed as complete, players should go back to a previous save file and try to attempt the gig again.

15 An Inconvenient Killer

Players will need a street cred rank of nine before this gig becomes available. V is asked to kill Jack Mausser “preferably on the down-low” if they can. Dino Dinovic barely pays more for the added stealth and won’t even mention if V fails so players shouldn’t worry too much if they get caught.

After players have taken out Jack in whichever way they choose, they can leave the club to complete the gig.

14 Big Pete’s Got Big Problems

Players will need a street cred rank of five before this gig becomes available. Dakota Smith needs V to end Big Pete’s career by guaranteeing he’ll be put six feet under as a favor to his friends.

Once players complete this blood bath they can leave the area to complete this gig.

13 Bring Me the Head of Gustavo Orta

Players will need a street cred rank of one before this gig becomes available. Players will get tangled up with the Valentinos and the 6th Street gang as they take down Gustavo Orta. It’s possible to complete this gig entirely peacefully but the reward is the same regardless and it’s easier to kill the target outright.

Once players find Gustavo, players can simply shoot him to complete the gig. If they do decide to talk things out, they will have to pick up their reward from a drop point before the gig completes. It’s easier and has a smaller chance of glitches to simply unload on the unlucky target.

12 Eye For An Eye

Players will need a street cred rank of one before this gig becomes available. Players are tasked with getting revenge on a hit and run driver named Tucker Albach who killed an innocent 17-year-old girl. Players have the option to be stealthy but the loot from going in guns blazing is far more lucrative

This gig is completed once players exit the building.

11 For My Son

Players will need a street cred rank of twenty-eight before this gig becomes available. Players will be tasked will killing Logan Garcia to avenge the mother of a child he killed while boxing in the ring.

Players can then wait for Logan to look out the window to shoot him when he’s distracted. Once players sneak their way back outside the gig will be completed.

10 Guinea Pigs

Players will need a street cred rank of eighteen before this gig becomes available. V needs to kill Joanne Koch, a regional director from Biotechnica, to complete this gig. Players aren’t obligated to do this gig with any stealth so we recommend they go in guns blazing for maximum experience and loot.

From here, players can take out their target before exiting the building to complete this gig.

9 Hot Merchandise

Players will need a street cred rank of over thirty-five while having completed the main job Ghost Town before this gig becomes available. V needs to kill Rebecca Price to help avoid Militech coming in to take her hacked goods.

Once players leave the building or drop off Rebecca’s body, this quest will complete.

8 Monster Hunt

Players will need a street cred rank of one before this gig becomes available. Players will have to go to the Ho-Oh Club (no this isn’t Pokemon) to take down a Tyger Claw named Jotaro Shobo.

Players that take this path won’t have to incapacitate or kill multiple guards making it easy to complete the gig once they kill Jotaro and leave the way they came in.

7 Old Friends

Players will need a street cred rank of one before this gig becomes available. Karubo Bairei is set to meet an unfortunate end at the hands of V. This gig currently has a major bug that allows players to complete the stealth requirements even if they break in the front door.

Players then simply need to leave the area to complete this gig.

6 On a Tight Leash

Players will need a street cred rank of one before this gig becomes available. Players are tasked with taking down a Valentino gangster named Jose Luis who seemed to get away with killing a police officer under unusual circumstances.

Once players have killed Jose, they can sneak out the same way they came in. After that, players will get a call from Padre before going to pick up their reward at the drop point to complete this gig.

5 Shark In The Water

Players will need a street cred rank of one before this gig becomes available. Players are tasked to help a store owner get his business back by killing Blake Croyle.

Once players leave the area, this gig will be marked as complete.

4 Small Man, Big Evil

Players will need a street cred rank of four and have completed the gig Monster Hunt before this gig becomes available. Players have to take out Jae-Hyun who has been kidnapping people to steal their cyberware.

Once players kill Jae-Hyun Regina will call them which completes this gig.

3 The Union Strikes Back

Players will need a street cred rank of over thirty-five and have completed the main job Ghost Town and Gimme Danger before this gig becomes available. Players will be tasked with getting rid of Vic Vega to help workers have better conditions at their jobs.

Once players are done with the slaughter, they simply leave the building to complete this gig.

2 Troublesome Neighbors

Players will need a street cred rank of one before this gig becomes available. Taki Kemonchi needs to be taken out so his pachinko setup doesn’t bring the NCPD into the area to snoop around.

Once players leave the area this gig will be marked as complete.

1 Woman Of La Mancha

Players will need a street cred rank of one before this gig becomes available. Players need to make sure Anna Hamil can’t keep digging into a case that would hurt the wallets of corrupt NCPD members. V has the potential to not kill Anna for an added reward which is certainly worth working for.

Once players have convinced Anna, they can leave the building to complete this gig.
