Body is one of the attributes that players can choose to enhance in Cyberpunk 2077. If someone wants to focus on raw physical power and tanking hits then this skill tree is for them. Adding points into the Body attribute will increase a player’s health, stamina, and damage with the Gorilla Arms.
Along with that, the attribute increases the blunt melee weapon damage and decreases the movement penalty when grappling an enemy. This skill tree is broken down into three sections: Athletics, Annihilation, and Street Brawler. Each tree offers different perks that can greatly benefit the player over a completed Cyberpunk 2077 run.
10 Marathoner
Looking into the Athletics skill tree, players will notice the Marathoner skill. This skill is perhaps one of the best to use in general around the map, especially when using melee weapons. This skill makes it so sprinting no longer consumes stamina, allowing the player to run indefinitely.
Melee builds will notice how quickly stamina can be used up while running from one enemy to the next while also beating them senseless. This perk at least takes the running portion out of the equation. It can also be used to run around the map easier whenever a car is unavailable.
9 Steel Shell
Useful in all builds, Steel Shell is a perk that many players grab to help them in combat. This perk increases the player’s armor by an additional ten percent. Free armor is always good armor and it’s necessary when taking down enemies.
Other perks have the potential to stack on top of this one, allowing the Body attribute to help the player with survivability. As a bonus, players can grab the Human Shield perk if they like grappling enemies. It stacks an additional twenty percent to armor.
8 Regeneration
Let’s face it, health is a necessity if a player doesn’t want to flatline while surrounded by a group of enemies. Health Regeneration helps that slightly by giving players, well, Health Regeneration.
Health will constantly regenerate while in combat. This perk is rated as one of the best no matter what build a player is running. As a bonus, this perk can also be grabbed early on. The only requirement is to have a level three in the Body attribute.
7 Indestructible
Players who want to max out the Body attribute will love the Indestructible perk. Run into battle with guns blazing and bullets flying while damage is being dealt. Many of the fights in the game will have multiple enemies charging the player.
Indestructible helps alleviate the pain of dodging attacks by decreasing the damage they leave by a solid ten percent. That may not sound like a lot, but every little bit helps when taking hits from multiple sources. This combines well with other skills that help get that health back.
6 Burn Baby Burn
Getting set ablaze is going to make any enemy with the could change their appearance like V can. Many of the game’s best weapons come with some extra fire damage. The community enjoys this because, eventually, most enemies are killed outright, but bosses that take many shots will need the damage over time for extra firepower.
Burn Baby Burn doubles the duration of the burn status effect when applies to opponents with a single point. This is a beast of a skill considering that it will be most useful when Cyberpunk 2077 is at its most difficult.
5 Guerilla
V will manage to be in all kinds of compromising situations. Whether it’s deciding which side job to do first or whether to side with NetWatch or the Voodoo Boys, there is going to be combat involved when the choices don’t go the way the opponents like.
But a well-built and equipped player will rarely, if ever, see a fight last for more than ten seconds. Guerilla adds an extra 60% to critical damage done within the first ten seconds of combat. With such short fights, this is essentially a 60% increase to crit damage at all times. It also feeds itself by killing things faster and ensuring no enemy lives for that long.
4 Speed Demon
Shooting on the run is just how players have to stay alive if they want to survive the realities of Night City. Not every situation is a pleasant “shoot all the guards from cover” experience. Scripted moments demand that players run, fall (hopefully without taking damage), and get to an exit while endless streams of enemies charge in.
Speed Demon increases damage when V is moving faster. The makes V deadlier on the move, so these opponents that try to stop the gamer from getting away are little more than moving targets as they flood in.
3 Pack Mule
Cyberpunk 2077 is now not as hard on the wallet with the prices of expensive vehicles and mods decreasing across the board. Still, completionists will be hard-pressed to buy everything in the game. It was impossible before, now it’s still unlikely, but at least doable.
For those who are sick of not being able to carry all of the consumables they need or buy luxury items, the trick is being able to carry more loot. Pack Mule allows V to fully clean out a zone and sell down before moving on to the next area. This is thanks to increased carrying capacity.
2 Epimorphosis
Health regeneration is pleasant, but the cap on it really negates the experience. Players will have to eat an entire apartment full of burritos if they intend to keep V topped off on health. This is because of artificial caps placed on how much health V gets back.
With one perk point, players get 100% of the health refilled outside of combat. More points also boost the amount restored in combat, but with how big the advantage of starting each new fight topped off is, it’s not even necessary.
1 Tenacious V
Every time V gets hit, health regeneration will pause. In longer fights, this means V will meet an early end and never be able to pursue a romance with Rogue. By eliminating the need to wait for regeneration to kick in, V will automatically be much harder to kill.
For players that are good at finding hiding spots and running away, think of this as a way to speed things up. Cover is nice and all, but waiting behind it for health regeneration to kick back in, then waiting again after taking fire is boring. Plus, it gives enemies opportunities to reposition. Stay on the offense and keep regenerating health with this perk.
Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10th, 2020, and is available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PC.
