Often, people use video games to escape the troubles of the world, but this game plans to throw players straight into them. Fancy + Punk has just released its latest game, Coronavirus Quarantine Simulator, which claims it can teach players how to “save the world by not being stupid.”
Coronavirus Quarantine Simulator is a short and silly game which tasks players with surviving during the COVID-19 pandemic, something which all players are already doing in the real world. Of course, in the simulation, things are a little extreme, and players can go overboard as well as there are few consequences for actions.
Throughout their time with the game, players will need to wash their hands for 20 seconds, stay six feet away from computer controlled NPCs, avoid touching their face, and more. Fancy + Punk emphasizes that while the game is outrageous and funny, it wanted to emphasize good health practices during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Players interested in trying the simulator out can find it on Steam for just $2.99 (on sale now for $2.24). This certainly won’t be a life changing experience by any means, but it could provide a few hours of mindless fun and a some good laughs if approached correctly.
Coronavirus Quarantine Simulator is available now on Steam.
